Their cream puffs are to die for. Not even kidding. It was the biggest cream puffs I’ve ever had. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and so so sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet. It was basically perfect

This little gem is hidden in plain sight. Driving by it you might never know it had such great food and warm, friendly service. It is not a fancy place. Somewhere between Wendy’s and Chili’s for decor and atmosphere. But the food! A couple dozen notches above either of them.

My spouse ordered a breakfast sandwich. I was surprised he made around the whole thing. It was ginormous! I had the eggnog french toast with a side of home fries. The bread didn’t need the drizzle of syrup I added. How was I to know?!

Home fries is one of those sides that can make or break a meal out for me. They are deceptively simple but notoriously difficult to do correctly. Cornerstone knows the secret. The leftovers were even good the next day.

Our server was a true national treasure. Sorry Mr Cage. She was attentive without hovering. She noticed when my spouse needed a refill on his drink. And she had the check and to-go box ready when we were.

We live an hour away but I plan on returning. It was worth it.

Such a pleasant experience! The Sunday brunch crowd was large but the wait wasn’t long, and made simpler with the use of pagers; our server Lindsey was wonderful – friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Our food came out quickly, hot, as ordered, and was delicious. Very high quality and fresh ingredients, large portions, and perfectly seasoned.

At the end of our visit, the owner, Tim, came to welcome us (it was our first time) with a complimentary loaf of house-made Portuguese Sweet Bread.

Reasonable prices, excellent quality food, efficient service, and friendly staff — we’re looking forward to a return visit!

We were visiting family in Swansea, MA. this afternoon and the subject of sweet bread came up. Our host immediately mentioned the Cornerstone Bakery and Restaurant in Swansea, MA. On our way home we stopped in and we grabbed the last loaf of their sweet bread. The fact that we scored the last loaf told me that it’s more than likely very good. When we arrived back home in CT. I went for the slicing knife to cut into our loaf of sweet bread. Confirmed, excellent sweet bread. So thanks to our family members who let us know about this bakery and then to the staff at The Cornerstone Bakery and Restaurant, next visit we will sit down and enjoy the restaurant and a loaf to go.

Today being 3/22 is my finacee birthday. We where going to our vet being Vitality of Swansea vet. We traveled from Warwick, RI. We wanted breakfast – brunch spot. Ginas in Fall River, Ma. Closed at 1pm We where at vet around noon. The commute was like 21 minutes from vet to ginas. I started Googling and Cornerstone appeared. You guys where 4 minutes away. You guys had good rating and food / price looked great. I am a picky eater. I am portguese and I can be overly critical on Portuguese sweetbread but I would rank you guys in my top two. My number one is lous bakery in Fall River. The service was great. The food was amazing. The price was shocking as how affordable it was. The portions where more then enough to fill you up and some. True portguese establishment usually you don’t leave hungry. The waitress was friendly and kind. The bakery looked amazing we didn’t get anything cause we where stuffed and usually we would say for later but I ordered my finacee birthday cake for later. We will definitely be returning at some point and time.

Absolutely love this place! From the moment you walk through the door, you’re greeted by everyone—it truly feels like you’re part of a family. Our waitress, Lindsey, is the absolute BEST! She’s friendly, attentive, and always makes the experience even better.
The food is excellent with generous portions and prices that are more than fair. And I have to say, they have the best iced coffee in town—I look forward to it every week.
If you’re looking for a local breakfast spot that consistently gets everything right, this is the place. Highly recommend!

We traveled from Kansas and always make it a point to stop for the sweet bread—it’s the best we’ve ever tasted! Although we had about a 15-minute wait on a Saturday morning, we were warmly welcomed and received friendly service. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast wrap and the classic eggs Benedict. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, and our server, Alyssa, managed everything wonderfully despite how busy it was. Thank you for a wonderful meal!
