I travel over 100 miles to eat at this location at least every other month, and always take food home. I had a wonderful experience there yesterday with our server, Tasia. I honestly believe they have the best fried okra and banana pudding I have ever eaten. The potato salad also earns top honors. The ribs have a unique flavor that sets them apart from most other BBQ establishments. I always get great service here, and the sweet tea is almost worth a trip in itself. The half chicken and pulled pork are always a hit with us as well. Service time is always fast and the food is consistently good. If you have any issues with your meal, they are quick to resolve the issue. This is one of the best BBQ joints in Huntsville!

Travis should be given a position of management, his knowledge of the history of dreamland and BIG John was on point, his knowledge of the way BIG John cooked meats and how he tries smoke the ribs chicken and pork was impressive. My wife and I were pleased we stopped by. We are both from the Tuscaloosa area and had numerous years of eating at the original Dreamland, we ordered ribs, large bbq pork sandwich, fried okra and baked beans. My wife also got banana pudding which Travis had prepared and convinced us it was good and he was right. The ribs were tender and had the right amount of smoke and the pork sandwich was just as good. Travis did an awesome job of smoking the meats. We are raving about the Dreamland in Huntsville and Travis.

Heard great reviews about this place and how this was is the go to place for bbq. We had the fried green tomatoes, they were great! Had the mac and cheese, it was good, the fried okra was yummy. tried the boneless rib tips, two ways, one was in the plate and the other in the form of a sandwich and was not impressed. the flavor was ok, they were tender, and there was plenty. What the issue was, they were dry. Not dry from lack of sauce but dry from over cooking or having been cooked and sit around for a while. Service was great, the waitress was super sweet and very attentive. The atmosphere was fun. Great novelty place. Just not sure I would say this bbq is outstanding.

This place is amazing. Jeorgia and Josh are the sweetest and best servers. The food is the best I’ve had. The banana pudding is delicious and so is the chocolate dream. And for sure get the big daddy’s chips with rib tips. All of it was perfection.

Dreamland is a fan favorite between my boyfriend and I, as we try to visit whenever there’s time in our busy schedules. The BBQ is made fresh in-house and is always delicious. Our go-to’s are the BBQ pork plate and the BBQ chicken sandwich, and they are always a hit every time we’ve ordered them! In case I’m ever looking for a sweet treat in addition to their tea, both their Banana Pudding and their Chocolate Dream pudding are there to choose from! I especially appreciate the banana pudding because there’s fresh banana slices in it. Overall, if you’re looking for a local BBQ place that has feel-good foods, look no further than Dreamland!

Great service. Food was top notch. Bread was simple but allowed you to sample the bbq sauce. Chopped brisket was super flavorful and smoked. Fries were hot and fresh and tea was sweep but not bitter. Will be back.
