It was my first time trying this restaurant after seeing great reviews about them. It’s black owned, and I wanted to support it. Im not vegan. However, I do love vegetables. I got the mushroom burger with special fries, and everything was delicious, fresh, and hot! The young lady that owns the restaurant took my order, and she was so sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back to try something else.

Ate here while we were house hunting in BR and the food was AMAZING! If the “golden sauce” is ever sold by the bottle, I’m buying a freakin’ gallon. I’m excited to go back and try the burger.

This vegan restaurant is delicious! The staff is super kind, and the service is good. It is a very small place, just a couple of tables, so it is better to get your order to go. We are looking forward to our next visit.

why isn’t this in baton rouge was the first question i asked when biting into the boom boom shrooms from golden vegan. absolutely amazing food at an honestly inexpensive cost (i’m so tired of overpriced vegan food when it’s just vegetables). hands down some of the best vegan food in louisiana and amazing service. Golden Vegan 10/10 ‼️ Everything was DELICIOUS, SO GOOD ‼️I ordered egg rolls, they were awesome and thick , it comes with spicy cheese sauce. I also got a plate of loaded nachos , when I tell you EVERY CHIP was covered and literally the whole plate was loaded. They were yummy and fulfilling(bbq sauce on nachos was bomb). Lastly, I got burrito. I have not tried yet but its super big and comes with cheese dip and green dip… unsure maybe its salsa verde. I definitely recommend golden vegan. Affordable, Fresh tasty VEGAN food, and excellent customer service ‼️

Amazing staff but horrible food ! I ordered several items and I had mushrooms in my wrap they were so hard I cracked my tooth . Walnut burger was dry I wouldn’t go back
Well this is me responding back to the comment that was left and this resturant told me to increase my calcium intake this isn’t my fault or calcium intake that your staff burnt the hell out my mushroom wrap that I waited 1 hour plus for and I was the first one in the store for ! Which wasn’t the young ladies fault but due to being understaffed is sad! The mushrooms were all burnt and batter was to damn hard ! And as for as the mushroom walnut burger it was dry as hell and no flavor I am not looking for a remake or hand out . I’m at looking for this company to accept responsibility and not blame it upon the costumer and there dental hygiene you can have perfect teeth and still go to a restaurant and crack your tooth . So with that being said this is a horrible company , Horrible response! And I honestly will never go back! I can’t post a review again so I will just edit mine ! It’s very sad that your response was that !
