After questioning the portion size of my wife’s strawberry smoothie, the situation quickly went downhill. She orders the same smoothie 2–3 times a week (including the day before this visit), and always requests “very, very” light ice. Despite that, what we received this time was essentially a half-sized smoothie.
To make matters worse, the bread on her tuna sandwich was supposed to be toasted only (not the entire sandwich). Instead, we received a cold sandwich. I waited at the window to address the issue, even knocking to get someone’s attention, but no one ever followed up or brought the correct item. I eventually had to leave without it.
I asked to speak with the General Manager, Marsha I., but was told she wouldn’t be able to return my call until sometime next week.
I’ve never felt so dismissed or insulted in an interaction like this. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Soup bowl was amazing. They have health food options and so many different salad combinations! Great selection of freshly baked treats and the best cookies.

Rapid Pick up order was due at 12:30, waited 25 minutes in store, still no order even being prepared. Come to find out they are out of lettuce. We agree to have our salads made with arugula. Another 15 mins go by still no salad. We asked they said they also ran out of it, yet they didn’t bother to inform us. I placed the order 50 minutes before even getting to the restaurant, put a pick up time so it’d be quick since I was traveling. I understand a short delay but losing 40 minutes is insane.
Time was totally wasted, no communication from the staff, no problem solving skills to at least communicate, offer an alternative or plain and simple cancel orders if they don’t have the main ingredient in that meal.
We ended up having to cancel the order after losing 40 mins.
If you are in a rush, DO NOT come here. It sucks it is one of the places with “healthier” options on the road, but not worth the poor communication.

This place needs help. The staff was arguing in the back, a girl was crying. They put one slice of meat on the sandwiches we got. My chicken was still FROZEN with ice crystals on my salad. The blonde woman worker by the pick up counter was constantly rolling her eyes and then snapping at the girl crying…. They were pouring the soups, straight out of the giant bag they come in, into the bowls in-front of the pick up counter. We don’t need to see that big microwaveable soup bag.
The girl that took our order was nice and sweet at least. Despite the chaos behind her.

This location was absolutely disgusting. Fingerprints all over the front door, filthy floors, dirty tables, overflowing trash cans, and bathrooms that clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. On top of that, there was no hot water for tea, which is basic for a place like this.
The food matched the environment: the grilled cheese was barely grilled, and the mac and cheese was cold. Completely unacceptable.
Do not go here unless you are truly starving and have no other option. Management is clearly failing—if this were my store, I’d fire the manager without hesitation.

Food was the usual panera fare but we had to wait 40 mins from the time to order to receiving our food. Either the staff needs to be trained for longer before putting them into the line or additional staff needs to be added. 40 mins for the food arrive is too long especially as most of the patrons were likely traveling through the city on their road trips.

Well, I asked for 2 Loaves of sourdough bread. After paying the cashier looked at me and I had to remind her that I paid for bread. She had to get an “adult” to use the bread slicer (totally understand). Once sliced, the “adult” cuts off both ends, leaving them on the counter. After slicing and packaging both Loaves, I asked about the ends and she was surprised I wanted them (I did pay for the whole loaf and love the ends). I guess South Carolinians don’t eat bread ends? As a service industry, wouldn’t it be better to let the customer decide whether or not they want the food they paid for?
The food was great, front service not so much. Very disappointing and annoying.

It’s Panara. Comfortable spot to eat lunch. More relaxed atmosphere than typical fast food. I love that they have an outdoor space. The restaurant was clean and staff was helpful. They have a new menu and they have eliminated flatbreads.

I am traveling with family on I95, we decided to stop for lunch here at this Florence Panera bread. This is the dirtiest Panera I’ve visited. Dirty dishes stacked high, none of the appliances such as the bagel slicer looks like it has been wiped down for a long time now. There are dirty table tops, and even an employee sleep in one of the booths. The kitchen floors are dirty too. This is a sad Panera bread to stop by, especially because Panera’s standards are high and the food they deliver is always good. It just seems like management at this location needs to step up taking care of housekeeping tasks.
