Food was good, but I got terribly bloated after eating it and had a horrible headache.
They asked us to wait 10 minutes to be seated even though there were 3 servers and the place was 80% empty.
Then the place itself smelled like a sewer. And the bathroom was foul.
I can’t really recommend it. With just a few cleaning touches it could be much better. And I think the food is waaay too greasy

There was a happy vibe inside this location. The hostess was very patient and kind even trying to help one of my party find this location. This location is situated off theI 85 corridor exit 12A in this area. Theres a slight up cline sidewalk to the double doors but around the side there is a door more accessible for those needing it and which one person in my party greatly appreciated.Someone was having a birthday song sang & it was a positive vibe inside the environment. I had the half rib with a salad and broccoli- the ribs were juicy- delicious- the generous house salad fresh & the broccoli nicely steamed to tender. My husband had the half rib dry rub with mashed potatoes & house salad. One person had the all you can eat rib-lets- a very generous serving first time around – he said they were very good. The waitress was attentive even though there were several other customers seated. It was a great dining experience!

This was a 4.5 out of 5 visit. My first visit to this Applebee’s was very good. The staff were wonderful, even on a busy Veterans day. The food was very good, though my compadre thought her steak was too done. Otherwise, everything tasted good, seemed fresh and was relatively well priced. The place is clean as well.

The service was solid. Got an appetizers and then the 2 for $25 with the upgrade on one meal. The food was not great. I got the chicken Alfredo. My chicken while not tough, was ‘heavy’ like the $2lb chicken you get from Walmart.
She got the chicken rice plate. She wasn’t impressed either.
While the atmosphere was good and service solid, I can see why they’re struggling to get people through the door. Need better ingredients

We arrived at Applebee’s in La Crosse around 9:30 PM on a Saturday night as a group of seven. The hostess did not give us any silverware, when she gave us the booth. The booth we were given was dirty and flies were flying around. Due to the time of night, we decided to stay since we were already there.
Our server was very polite, took everyone’s drink and food orders precisely, and even verified everything, which I appreciated.
Unfortunately, the kitchen experience was disappointing. After about an hour of waiting, the server informed us that the Prime Rib Dipper was unavailable, so we placed a different order. About 20 minutes later, he returned to let us know they were also out of bone-in wings — even though boneless wings had already been served to our table earlier. At that point, I chose not to reorder anything.
The rest of our food didn’t arrive until between 11:00 and 11:15 PM. Thankfully, everyone said their meals were delicious, and our server continued to handle everything with patience and professionalism.
I’m grateful for the good service and the positive attitude from our waiter, but the kitchen delays and multiple unavailable items made the experience frustrating. We were just passing through La Crosse, and unfortunately, this will likely be our first and last visit to this location.

We dine here frequently. However, the food is almost inedible at this point. I placed a to go order today and everything was greasy and dirty. They obviously need to clean their grill as there was burnt old food remnant from the grill all over my food.

The host was friendly and inviting, probably the most helpful employee of the evening. Our waitress was very friendly but disappointingly slow and ignored our table, sorting out papers and a nearby table waiting until our appetizers were ready to even bring us our drinks (she’s the one who told us this) and then didn’t even check in after giving us our food which we couldn’t even eat because we didn’t have any condiments besides ketchup. And then upon needing refills we asked two waitresses because ours was nowhere to be seen neither which got our the refills and it ended up being the host walking by that refilled them. Very disappointing

The young ladies there did an excellent job with hospitality. The food wasn’t that good but I noticed others having food issues and the girls were very accommodating trying to make everyone happy. Applebee’s was always a safe bet but my last two visits were less than desirable. Not at this location but others

Got kicked out and refused service for asking host if she knew our friend. The group of us five politely got up and then went into the parking lot to discuss where we were going to eat next since our service was being refused and within 5 minutes of us talking the manager came out and told us to leave or she was calling the cops. Whole situation escalated over asking the host if she knew our friend and nothing more. Never did the manager ask what happened check the cameras or nothing she just walked up and refused our service.

My husband and I went yesterday for our date. Our server Jameka was wonderful and we were very pleased. Very attentive to us so when we return we will be asking for her. No offence to the others though. The food was hot and delicious. Kudos to her and this location.
