Authentic Irish pub! A friend took me to his favorite place in Atlanta and I can totally understand why he loved this place. Bar keeper was amazing, great recommendations and fun stories. As a starter I loved the wedges with the cheese dip. The Irish spice bag was interesting and yummy, but a little spicy. Would definitely come back. It’s easy to meet people at the pub.

We enjoyed our visit to Fado the other day. The place is huge and has a very cool old school Irish pub vibe inside. Atmosphere was awesome, service was alright.

Food was more hit than miss but most everyone noted that their dish could use more flavor/seasonings. My brother liked his reuben but was a bit bummed that there were only two thin slices of corned beef on it. My shepherd’s pie was plated beautifully but was a bit on the bland side. The fish and chips were spot on though!

Their signature Old Fashioned was great. Prices are reasonable for Buckhead!

Great food, pub was beautiful. The servers were good, but might need one more to keep up with all the customers.

Our server, Jessica, was amazing, taking the time to give us a great experience on a busy Friday night where the power even went out during a big storm that blew up! Restaurant staff never skipped a beat and everyone cheered when the lights came back on. Great food, great service!

It was a little slow getting somebody to come to the table and had to ask for it to be wiped, but it was nearing the end of happy hour, so I’m sure they were just pretty busy. By the time we ordered, it was technically a few minutes past, but they still honored happy hour pricing.
Everything was delicious, served quickly by a friendly young lady. I had the cabbage rolls which were even better than I expected and my husband had the fish tacos (that I sampled) and they were also wonderful. My son had the shepherd’s pie that he gobbled up as if he were starving, but he did verbally say it was great. He didn’t eat the salad, but I ate some and it was very fresh. His friend had the fish and chips cup and he really enjoyed that.
Music was decent and good volume and the decor was fitting.

On a Saturday night, being possessed of a thirst and a certain leisure after a Jordan Klepper show, I inquired for an establishment most proudly Irish in its constitution. Indeed, Fado is one of the most Irish public houses I have encountered in Atlanta. The place wears its heritage most openly, and with such authenticity that I half expected a fiddler to spring forth from the rafters and demand I sing along.

My intention was to secure a seat upon the patio; alas, every corner of it was already overrun by a cheerful horde of college students, each behaving as though stout were the fountain of eternal youth. Thus deprived, I consoled myself with their array of Guinness inspired potations, which I found both abundant and most welcome. One could scarcely lift a glass without the faint suspicion that the brewery itself was watching with approval.

I resolved that I should return on some future occasion when a soccer match is in progress, for the atmosphere, I suspect, will then be nothing short of riotous. With foresight, I inquired into the vexing matter of parking, and was relieved to learn that the house does indeed validate for the garage behind Yeppa. A gentleman likes to know he may part with his coin over ale, not asphalt.

All in all, it is a spot most conducive to merriment, if one does not mind the occasional roar of youth reminding one that his own college days are now but fondly misremembered footnotes.

Usually come to Fados when I’m in Atlanta during a weekend when LFC is playing. Tremendous OLSC!

In town on business. Came over to grab something to eat for supper.

Had shepherds pie, side salad, and Happy Hour Old Fashioned.

Food was terrific and hit the spot. Old Fashioned was good. Happy Hour OF was made with Jamesons – can’t expect much.

Service was good too.

I highly recommend Fados. Will return.

Up the Reds!

I went here for lunch, the outside of the establishment gave off bar vibes I was going to pass it up but I decided to say when I looked at the menu. We sat outside where they allowed pets which I didn’t like because there was a dog barking when people walk by. My food that I ordered was a salad it was different because it had beet hummus which I never had it was very good the only thing I did not like is the minute amount of greens they had on my plate I didn’t have a side salad I ordered a salad entree. When I let the waiter know he also brought out more spring greens, but they charged me for it which I did not like! But I paid for it overall the place has great food I don’t think I would sit inside it seems old. But the food was very good and our waiter was great. The prices were not bad either for an establishment in the Buckhead area

When i visited, it was a rainy day so there were just a few people but I’m sure it can be very busy at times. The place itself was very good. The waitress was quick and attentive. I had some buffalo chicken, a couple of beers and a bread pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious. There also was a girl with a microphone asking some kind of trivia which made it a bit weird when you just wanna go and chill out in peace, but it was not that bad. I will return for sure.

Fish & chips did NOT come with chips. Ordered on fado’s website, where the photo and description show fish AND chips (with coleslaw and tartar sauce).

Picked up my carry out, got home-no chips in any of the boxes. I drive back and the manager insisted fish and chips do not come with chips unless you specifically order chips.

What??? She ended up giving me 1 order of chips even though there were 2 orders of fish and chips on the order. Fish and chips is an internationally known meal…it comes with fish…and chips…

I’ve been here before, brought friends and family here-spent a good amount of money over the years. I live across the street and order takeout often but this experience makes me not want to go back which is unfortunate.
