They were able to accommodate 30 of us that were in Newberry for a fast pitch travel ball tournament at Champion Park. Really close to the park and ample seating and parking.
Service was good and they did a great job getting our orders and bills correct. I had the BBQ pork chops with a side of collards and baked beans. They chops were thick, moist, and flavorful. The side were on point too.
Will definitely be back over the summer season.

4 stars on atmosphere, ONLY because there was a few very loud old men who wanted everyone to hear them. Not the fault of the restaurant, I know. The food was delicious. The most moist flavorful chicken I have ever eaten! The slaw and rings were delicious as well. Penny, our waitress was friendly, knew her stuff and provided fantastic service! There were several regulars, which speaks volumes for a place. And y’all, the women’s bathroom was clean!

Not the experience we had previously encountered at this establishment. A server took our drink orders and our food orders. A different server delivered our meals. When I informed her that I ordered the tomatoes side and not corn, she went on the defensive and said she didn’t take our order, but she would correct it. She took the corn and returned, not with the tomatoes, but with tomato bisque. I left it at that. I had the barbecued chicken and it was very dry. The coleslaw had what I would describe as a musty or old flavor. My husband’s brisket was also dry, with an amount of fat that was at least equal to the amount of meat. We were very disappointed as this was one of our go to restaurants.

There is nothing to hate here. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating with fun decorations and a bar for those crying over their teams latest loss (for Jaguar and Gator fans ). We stopped here while passing through on our bikes. Very glad we did. I had the namesake burger which must be in the top three of my life. My wife has the half chicken and we shared all the sides. Everything was well thought out and prepped other than the corn bread being a tad bit dry. Get a stick.of butter and the dryness goes away. The bathrooms are as clean as the appearance of the emrrst of the restaurant. The service was a bit slow because we all came in at once but they worked hard to get everything right and that is to be respected. We will be back when we r in the area

Had pick up order. First off I wouldn’t give any star to this establishment. TERRIBLE FOOD!! I will never return to this place. This place has gone down hill since I moved to Newberry 5 years ago. Today was the icing on the cake. Ribs were burnt and smoked so long there was barely any meat on the bones. It was like eating beef jerky off the bone. The beans were out of a can heated up same with the green beans out of a can. Newberry do yourself a favor, do not go here!!

I got the sliced pork lunch with fries and coleslaw…and added a side of collards. Everything was amazing but the collards were the star hands down. Glad I don’t live closer otherwise I’d be there all the time.

Stopped in with a big group, ready for some smoky magic. The special was “bisket” unfortunately, it came out so dry it could’ve qualified as beef jerky’s older cousin. The choice was cornbread or garlic toast; the server highly recommended the toast, but I went rogue with the cornbread… mistake. Imagine sweetened sand that crumbles out of pure disappointment.
Service was friendly but overwhelmed. Our table turned into a time trial where meals arrived in waves about 45 minutes apart. By the end, we all agreed the best part was the company, not the barbecue. Maybe they just had an off day, but next time, I’ll pack a water bottle… or three.
