Always have a great time when I go here with my friends. There is a restriction on how long you stay I believe it’s no longer than 2 hours. The owners are super generous they offer free fans to all the customers. They’ll play music that’s Interactive and you can get up in the aisles and dance. Their bucket drinks are a must after a long week!

I decided to try the birria basket for the first time ever but as a To go order me and my family I look inside the box everything looked AMAZING. unfortunately what I’m starting to see with you all is that your to go food fails everytime this order spilled everywhere in the plastic bag that yall bagged to birria soup in because I’m guessing the soup was so hot it melted through the plastic lid and spilled everywhere and the second issue was that plastic ended up melting into the soup causing bits of plastic inside the soup while everything else was good I didn’t have an issues until the next day when I took my leftovers for lunch a long strand of hair was in my quesadilla and i ended up throwing the whole meal away. This wouldn’t be the only time a to go order was a disappointment two days prior to this happening I wanted to go and get the valentines day special on Valentine’s Day to go, you all forgot my extra three birria tacos I ordered and it was too late to order anything else because y’all were closing, but I did receive my refund. You all really need to work on your to go order service because dining In is no issue, but some people can’t always dine in.

This is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in Hampton roads. Hands down the best thing this place has going for it. I can’t have friend foods or dairy and this place is so good I don’t even care than it leaves me in a deep dark gastro induced pseudo psychosis, worth it. The egg rolls are life affirming. Go in for a food hug, we all could use one right now.
On a side note, the service was super super slow. Our guy was really nice but omg did they drag the experience out. It took us around 2 hours from getting there to leaving again. So just be aware of that I guess.

Was excited to try this place after seeing their Taco Tuesday special on social media. The food was okay/mid. The server did not give us what we asked for despite writing it down and reading it back to us. We had to ask multiple times for the things we ordered including water when we first down. We were charged for more than we ordered and then it was an argument before waitress realized her mistake. We waited an extended time for a check while the waitresses laughed and giggled amongst themselves behind the bar. Once we paid we went to the parking lot and the host yelled into the parking lot that we had attempted to dine&dash – which got the attention of the armed security guard. It turns out the host was looking at another table’s unpaid check (because they were still eating). Truthfully it didn’t surprise me that he had a lack of attention since he was sitting down and eating with his friends/family. That whole situation made me and my party feel extremely uncomfortable. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else. I dare to say anywhere else.

If you like birria, this is your place. There are lots of menu options dedicated solely to birria. I had to try birria ramen just because of how unique it sounded. The portion was huge. It felt like a food challenge. Tasted great, too. It was spiced well.
Service was friendly. Atmosphere was a bit more ‘bar’ than ‘restaurant’, if that’s your vibe.

Shrimp fajitas-lacked flavor. Veggies should be cooked just a bit more. They were practically raw. This is my second review of this place. Waited over an hour for my food, finally asked for it to go. I believe my food had been ready and just sat there. It was warm and the cheese wasn’t melted or soft. I went last week and ordered tacos carnitas-all I got was a big chuck of fat. I’m done with this place.

Nice little spot with great drinks and festive environment. It was crowded and there was a non-stop line. The DJ was awesome! Prepare to wait for a seat if you get there after 5:00. The food was inexpensive and so were the drinks.

This is a small yet festive Mexican restaurant. The service is friendly and helpful. The decor is fun and colorful. We went on a Sunday night, which shares the weekly specials with Tuesday. So, we tried the tacos and margaritas on special. My chicken tacos were a bit bland, and I could not taste any tequila in the strawberry margarita. I did enjoy the cozy and fun atmosphere but was underwhelmed with the food and drinks. They serve a simple menu with plenty of drink options. This is a family-friendly restaurant that’s affordable. You can feel comfortable dining solo or hanging out with friends here. There’s limited parking. I would not bring a first date here. We were approached by a homeless man solicitating in the parking lot on our way out.

Visited for Taco Tuesday, which is a great deal. We tried one of each taco included in the special. While fresh and substantial, we had to add extra hot sauce, lime, and salsa for more flavor. Margaritas were ok but i like to be able to taste a little bit of tequila, which we didn’t. Service was very friendly though, and the place has a cute, hip vibe. Also, if you’re a fish taco lover like me, El Rey #2 doesn’t offer them. They do have shrimp tacos.

Came on tacos and margarita Tuesday! Margaritas were great a day had several hood flavor choices. The homemade salsa is AMAZING and has just enough kick. Chicken quesadilla was also excellent even leftover. Regular tacos are also really good! I’ll definitely be back when in the area but I’ll try their VA Beach location next time.
