I came here for lunch on Sunday. Sunday is one set price $17.99 and the foundation drink is about $2. There are a variety of food available and a hibachi area where you select items to be cooked. Also, there are dessert and self-serve ice cream. The service was attentive.

One of the better Buffets on Long Island! Clean, plenty of food choices. Also have desserts ! Large free parking lot in back. The servers are nice too . Prices have increased over the years but I’ve included a pic of the latest price list.

The food was good. Plenty of parking. The place was pretty busy. Service was nice and prompt. There wasn’t an overwhelming smell of seafood even though there was a lot of seafood dishes. If your looking to fill up on the cheap and want to spend under twenty dollars, you’ve come to the right place. This is a very large Chinese buffet with lots to choose from. We went for the dinner buffet which was still transitioning after a late lunch. This place was pretty full for a Saturday. I didn’t see as many hot buffet items come out during that transition for dinner, but when they did come out is was hot and it was clearly marked for dinner only diners. Need to try to come around 5 or 6 pm when dinner service is in full swing. Otherwise, the taste of the food was great overall. You also get the option for your food to be cooked hot off the press by their chef on a hibachi grill.

I visited Island Buffet Hibachi Grill, 1874 Grand Ave, Baldwin, NY 11510, on 12/28/2025 between 5:00 PM and 6:10 PM. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The food was cold even though I saw steam coming from it, and it lacked seasoning, making it very bland. Some items were soggy, and overall, it felt like a waste of money. To make matters worse, I saw a roach walking in the middle of the aisle, which was extremely disturbing. While the staff were polite and friendly, seeing a roach in the dining area raises serious concerns about the cleanliness of the kitchen—if there’s one, there are likely many more. I was so disgusted that I paid and left immediately. This was a family outing for four people, and I will never return. Two stars because the staff was nice. FYI: the ice cream was completely done they just had empty container in the freezer.

I went to this buffet restaurant for lunch, size is pretty big, and have enough space to isolate guests. The selection of foods are ok, for the price of less than $10 for a Saturday lunch it is pretty good. There aren’t much guests today, but they are keep refilling their food. Only complain their sushi rolls were pretty dry and some of the foods were not hot enough.
The service were good and clean up empty dish on my table pretty quick.

A decent Chinese buffet for a price. After arriving to DJ’s International buffet and saw their price $36/person, I came here instead. It’s easy to find the buffet and I parked on street because I didn’t see any parking area. First impression is the white light and amount of natural light instead of the warm yellow light that other Chinese buffets use makes the whole place look nicer and clean. Food is alright. Similar choice like other places: Chinese fried food, noodles, sushi, salad. I had to give them a big plus on: they serve crab and it’s fresh, not the frozen watery type. They also have cherry and great hard-serve ice cream, not the soft-serve and taste like water with color in it. Will visit here again. Staffs are friendly too.
