I am from the east coast and lived in places that know diners. This one is pretty legit. Classic diner with a little Texas flair. Hubs and I split the club with fries and had a cherry pie for dessert. The ingredients were fresh and well balanced. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They even heated up the cherry pie!

You can tell they love what they do here. Fabulous atmosphere, sweet staff, they even let us try the cornbread….. mmmmmm I hope they have chili in the fall for that awesome cornbread!

Definitely worth the time it took to drive here!!!!!

I came in about 2:00 so that I would miss the lunch rush but maybe I should have come earlier cuz my veggies were not hot and in a warming table too long.
The chicken fried steak was apparently fresh off the grill but it was pretty bland and while the breading appeared crisp it was immediately just soggy in my mouth. I first ordered the stewed cabbage but I disliked it because it was just heavy cooked in tomato sauce so I got the butter beans instead which were yummy but barely lukewarm. The mashed potatoes were just average and very lukewarm almost cold, not hot at all and neither was the white gravy. I’m not a cornbread fan so I asked for the wheat bread which was just sliced and served on a plate it wasn’t toasted or anything and it came with no butter, it was just bread. Everything just needed lots of salt and pepper to give it flavor. I was disappointed because I’ve heard good things about this place and while the interior was cute I don’t think I’ll come back.

I haven’t been to the 410 Diner in 20+ years, and today when I walked in, it felt like home. The service was incredible, and Maria D. who has worked there for many, many years made my lunch time experience as memorable as I had remembered.
The beverages are ice cold, the servings are incredibly sized, and tasty is an understatement – wow, so delicious!
Thank you 410 Diner, and Ms Maria for for an amazing and memorable dining experience today, and I promise I won’t wait so long to make the worthwhile drive!

The waitress was on point and very attentive. However, I probably should have trusted my first impression. As soon as I stepped out of the car, I could smell grease in the air, and it was even stronger once we went inside. I came in hoping for a classic diner experience and planned to sit at the counter, but the counters were covered with flowers, so we didn’t ask and ended up in a booth.

Service was great throughout. Unfortunately, the food didn’t deliver. The mac and cheese was really bad. The waitress offered to replace it, but I declined since I already had more than enough food. She even apologized again and mentioned that most of their sides aren’t seasoned and are left up to the customer to add salt or pepper.

The club sandwich was good. The chicken fried steak, however, was very bland and somewhat soggy.

Cool little diner with friendly service and a really cool atmosphere. We both had burgers and fries. They were really good and the ingredients were all fresh. They have tons of other American home style dishes on the menu too. I would recommend stopping in and trying it out.

It’s a solid place to get diner/home style food. I’ve been coming here for years and always enjoy my meals. The cornbread was dry this day but ask for butter and honey and it will fix it right up! On Tuesdays it’s $2 off.

I had the chicken fired steak and it made me a little sad. The breading wasn’t attached at all and the flavors were bland. In fact the mashed potatoes and fries weren’t salted. The mac and cheese was terrible but the catfish poor boy and onion rings were okay. Honestly this is a place for old people with old people flavors if your over 55 and think black pepper spicy then this is the place for you. Waitress was super and very nice.

This is such a charming little 50s-style throwback diner! The retro vibe is fun and cozy—like stepping back in time in the best way. If you’re a fan of liver, you’re in luck—there are several liver dishes to choose from, which is pretty rare these days. But even if liver isn’t your thing, don’t worry—they offer a wide variety of other options that are just as tasty.

Everything we ordered tasted like it was made from scratch. Even the kids’ meals impressed us. The chicken fingers and fries didn’t have that typical frozen taste or texture—they were crispy, fresh, and flavorful, which says a lot coming from a kids’ menu!

The service was quick and super friendly. The staff made us feel welcome and kept things moving without ever making us feel rushed.

Overall, the food was really good and comforting, with that homemade feel that’s hard to come by. It’s a spot I’d definitely recommend whether you’re just passing through or looking for a fun, nostalgic dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

A diner back in time, loved all the pictures and history on the walls.
Greeted right away, smiling faces. I needed some guidance on what to order as I am a first time visitor. Burgers are always good and I agree…they are HUGE with a basket of fries to share.
This place is so clean and organized.
Fireplace, corner tables good for date night.
Outside patio was not open yet but has potential.
