I went at lunch, when they weren’t so crowded, and the food was amazing. The sashimi and fried rice (see below) were very good, with the fried rice having more seasoning than other places. You like sushi? You’ll like this

We had dinner here on Christmas and the atmosphere was great. There was a short wait, but nothing unreasonable, especially since they were one of the only places open. The miso soup was a bit cool, but the manager immediately fixed the issue and even gave us a gift card. That kind of service really stands out.

Reasonably priced standard sushi. Lunch nigiri had generous portions served at proper temp. Comes with miso soup AND salad not either or.
I kept it basic and it was great.

Be warned: As of January 2026, there are no more happy hours. We went to this restaurant during the happy hour times posted online. Food and atmosphere was great, but suddenly getting rid of the awesome happy hour we used to go to last year with no notification really ruined our experience.

I don’t know why this place isn’t more popular! The fish is so fresh, the best sushi in Boulder. If you have a large group you can sit in one of the tea rooms and it’s like a private dining experience!

This place offers some exotic Nigiri options that we haven’t tried before. We like that most of their rolls don’t use imitation crab and fancy sauces to over compensate for the imitation filling. I chose this place because I wanted the fan fair of a sushi boat. If your order is large enough, they’ll fulfill the request. We went on a Sunday night, and the place was full, but not loud. They’ve got a couple of really cute seating options depending on the size of your party. We’ll still explore the other sushi restaurants in town, but this one has so far been the best sushi we’ve had in Colorado.

We’ve been coming here for thirty years. Unbelievably good food. This time, the service wasnt great. A cute older Japanese waitress seemed to push us along even though there were very few customers for a Sunday evening. No interaction really, just “What can I get I get you? Ok. Bye.” Not great service for a non busy time and $60/person without alcohol. I hope the owner reads this review.
