TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

My first time trying Dave’s and it is great! The chicken portion is generous. I got a #3 meal and I couldn’t eat even half. It comes with a slider and a tender. The drink is sold separate. One tender is “enormous.” It’s like eating 2-3 fingers at a time. I loved that it came with plenty of pickles and the seasoned fries were good. I tried hot but will get medium next time. The seasoning is a dry rub and it makes it spicier than buffalo hot sauce. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I will definitely come back again and enjoy more yummy chicken!

Never been to this restaurant before, so we wanted to try it out tonight. It’s a Saturday night so understood that it would be busy. However our order was slightly misunderstood at the speaker. I believe it was the manager who made things right and completely fixed our order. Wish i could’ve gotten his name, but he wears glasses.
Also the food is amazing! Will be coming back to this restaurant at this location again! Please tell the manager that he’s doing a great job when you give this place a visit!

Fast and efficient. we had a problem with their online ordering as it was not working and called the store to order from there. However, the manager had explained to me that they do not take orders over the phone so I had to go in person to get the order. I was making a big order so I wanted it to be ready by the time I got there. However, I had to order in store. To my surprise, it was actually very fast.
We ordered fries and thought it would be a bunch but it was very little. It was very disappointing.

Recently opened and already quite popular in Riverdale. Finally had a chance to stop in recently. Absolutely loved the murals on the walls in the large cafeteria style seating area. Very vibrant and colorful! Really makes the place pop. Chicken sliders are a perfect size. With a large, very juicy, brined, and perfectly crispy fillet on a smaller soft slider bun. Heat wise we ordered medium and although there was some spiciness, we would definitely go one step higher to hot next time. Hot was indeed a big step up! Wasn’t overwhelming and just the right heat level for us ! Loved the large slices of pickles, slaw, and honey mustard sauce. Highly recommend getting cheese too. Fries could have been a little crispier. However, the delicious seasoning more than makes up for that! Really need to check this place out if you want an upscale chicken sandwich that you can customize your own heat level. They even have a Reaper level which I heard requires a waiver signature.

FOOD WAS EXCELLENT! We had a large order which we ordered on the app and was done when we picked it up everyone was kind! Definitely recommend! My favorite place to eat!
