The food overall is good and comes out to you warm and tastes good though everytime I’ve asked for light ice in my drink I still get regular ice to the degrees of i tested how much drink would fit in the RT44 and literally 14 Oz fit in it which is less that you’d get from a bottle from a store or gas station. Now as for the service they are as you’d expect from a sonic type place which isn’t bad but could be a little better. They do need to fix a couple of their ordering windows and patio area to look nicer. Would I recommend yes at this location and plan to review the other one by the oxford Walmart by the mall soon.

Every time I go they screw my order up. Mozzarella sticks come with marinara sauce, right? They rang up “no sauce” with my order. WTH?

I get an order of cheese sticks at least twice a week & have always received marinara sauce with my order; today I was charged .25 per packet for the sauce. When I verbalized that the sauce was usually included my order I was informed that it was a new thing they’re doing (new owners). I call BS. All other fast food joints always include sauces & only charge for extra.

This store is much better than it used to be. Very friendly staff. I’m only giving 3 stars bc I went to a different sonic and they were out of the sauce for the honey chipotle chicken sandwiches. I came here to get it and there’s not even a 1.99 menu on their menus at all. I had to ask about it. Then the lady was like all sonics have it. Then I had to explain one store was out of the sauce for them then I came here and don’t see it on the menu at all. So I didn’t know if it was something they were getting rid of or

Horrible service. Ordered mozzarella sticks, food was old and cold. He to ask for fresh sticks. Waited over 10mins for a remake. When the remake came the mozzarella sticks still did not look right. Will not visit this location again.

Decided to eat here after so long due to new summer items… Today kinda reminded me why I have not been in a while. Carhop was engaging, attentive, and charming. The small slushie I tried was so-so. It was the blueberry lavender with the cold foam, tho the cold foam wasn’t on it sadly . Food was hot, which was a medium frito pie and 6 cheddar peppers. No dipping sauce was placed in the bag for peppers. Not sure if that was my fault when I ordered through the app, but, I digress. Those were good, full, big, and worth the money… However, the frito pie wasn’t. My total for the 3 items was $15ish which included a slushie discount and tip (I had recently learned, carhops depend heavily on being tipped, as I was misinformed in the past, so obviously I try to pay a fair tip and today it happened to be $3.) So with that being said, the medium frito pie was medi-ocre if you want a chuckle ♀️. It wasn’t worth the amount spent. It looked like more fritos were there than chili, and lets not even talk about the cheese. Imagine the smallest latel scoop. For a medium. Call me crazy, but I could of swore it was better than that. Coworkers agreed as well…. Next time I’ll take a picture if it happens again (no time today) and I can either apologize or offer criticism again ….Not to sound “big back-ish” about the cons …but I feel its kinda went down hill…Thank you for the positives… Ill try again later down the road.

All I wanted was a large cup of ice but I was told that they do not sell cups of ice. After going back and forth about it, I had to purchase a large cup of actual ice water. The person didn’t understand that all they had to do was charge me for a large cup of ice water but simply not include the water. Instead, I had to pour the water off the ice onto the ground just so that I could have the ice.
This is something (one or two large cups of ice) that I purchase exactly everyday. Yes, every single day. And I’ve never had a problem to purchase a large cup of ice. And with every purchase, I will tip…most of the times, I will tip $1 but definitely never under $.50.
That was my first time in Sylacauga….let’s just say that Sonic Drive-In really left a bad taste in my mouth.
