As soon as you walk in, it’s like you’re home with vibrant music, natural lighting and friendly staff. Sit inside or outside, peruse the menu via QR code and wait for your food. It’s not a long wait either and we ordered plenty. This is 100% home cooked food with all the flavors of home. The food comes out piping hot with delicious sides.

First time here. Came with my family. It was four of us. We got 2 of the biggest entrees(forgot the name of plates sorry). And we shared between the four of us. It was more than enough plus had some left over. The presentation was but the flavor is w it at is all about. The flavor was authentic. Tastes just like it was homemade. The meat was cooked perfectly!!! I highly recommend if you’re looking to try authentic Guatemalan food. The Garrnachas as an appetizer are addictive. So delicious. To my understanding they’ve kept the same recipe of all the dishes since they’ve opened. Which is Lucertios recipe. Lucario knew what she was doing in the kitchen! Go and taste for yourself!

Excellent food in a very nondescript setting.

Food took toooo long to arrive. Even if we were the only people there. We were large group but not had any food for more than an hour only drinks. Food is great and portion as well but lil bit quicker would be perfect. The place is clean and great environment.

Me gusto la experiencia limpip y rico el pescado. Recomiendo venir si tienen buen tiempo.

This place is one of the best Guatemalan food Restaurant I have visited in the last 20 years. Great service, food tastes like I am Guatemala, Garnachas are delicious! Portion of Guacamol to little for 5 people, no chips or tortillas to get the guacamol, atol de elote was not hot, but good flavor. Carne adobada needs more adobo, but again good flavor. Corn tortillas are delicious thick tortillas. Fast service, clean bathrooms. Update, we got here for breakfast everything was expetacular! Thank you Mayra for excellent service. Recommend the tostadas, longaniza, atol de elote.

Just passed by the El Lucerito Restaurant, and I’ll come back when I’m done…I had to make a quick run to Estanzio Defrancesco Escobar’s cape factory to drop off the Muleta and Estoque that was used by the bull fighter Manolete when he was gored by El Torro Raton, it’s a very special cape and sword, and he’s going to have it on display in his shop there on 4th street. The El Lucerito has Amazing food, I only got plain scrambled eggs, they were spectacular. 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆
