Simple, wood-paneled eatery serving up BBQ eats such as brisket & pulled pork with classic sides.

Recommend… 10/10 This location was much nicer than the other. I ordered the pork chops and they were oh so tender!!! Had collard greens, potato salad and Mac n cheese as an extra. Then the how cake was so good. The food was so good just needed a little more cheese in the Mac 😉 As a foodie I can appreciate the sides that they have. Some places in the CSRA don’t have the regular sides…

After being here over a year, I finally decided to stop by. BEST DECISION EVER!! Every one was so polite with great southern hospitality. They even took the time to go over the menu and explain the dishes to me. The owner was so kind, she even brought us a free serving of peach cobbler. Everything we ate was amazing but my favorite was the sweet potato casserole and the hoecake (hot water cornbread). The BBQ was very tender and my son loved the Mac and cheese. We will definitely be going here more often. This definitely made me think of my grandmother’s food and was a great experience!!!

Literally the most welcoming restaurant I’ve ever been in! They helped us learn how the menu works, gave recommendations, samples, they asked if we needed anything while we were eating. Every single person was incredibly personable and kind and it genuinely felt like everyone was just happy to be there and have conversations with the guests.
The food is amazing and the farm to table really shows here. The pork loin was tender, the chicken was generous, the potato wedges were SOOO good and the barbecue casserole was unique and delicious.
I’ve always heard of restaurants that feel like home, but this is the first one that actually made me feel so welcome. At the end of our meal the owner came over and asked us how everything was. She was so kind, and explained how all of the recipes were her grandparents recipes and some are over a hundred years old.
The atmosphere and quality made me think it would be expensive but it’s the same price as anywhere else and the flavor is leagues above anything I’ve tried.

Love this place. It’s a family owned restaurant. When you first go in you order at the counter, then they bring your food to you. They have a very nice lady waitress. If you get the fish and shrimp it is cooked once you order. Very fresh. Plates are around $13 and comes with a meat, two veggies and a roll or bread. They also have dessert. Everything is made fresh. Country southern cooking. The restaurant is super clean and staff is friendly.
This is in a nice area. Very safe.

Me and my man tried out this place after seeing all the raving reviews. The service was absolutely amazing and welcoming for our first time. However, the food was very underwhelming.. we got the bbq combo with Ribs & chicken (dark) ribs were not fall off the bone & seemed baked. 4/10, Chicken was wayy to dry we left on the plate 2/10, Greens were too sweet, need more smoke & meat flavor 3/10, Mac & chz was pretty good 7/10, Johnny cake cornbread 6/10, and thanks for the complimentary peach cobbler but it was mot “peachy enough & needed more juice 5/10. We probably wont be back but we appreciate the service we had here!

Ok Augusta you are very lucky to have such a great place. The service was a six, she stayed on top of refills and garbage and even got some peach cobbler. The food was great. Heading back to Atlanta (well first the anytime gym down the road) and only one comparable place is Farm View in Eatonton. No place where I live such a great all around place. Thanks to my family down here always suggesting this place. Hutto plumbing and the Hutto family.

Good venue with good selections for meats and sides. Roasted pork loin was good but ribs were awesome. Good, tasty collards. OMG the peach cobbler! Plenty of inside seating and wait staff that takes good care of you.
