Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I have to give a huge shoutout to Kaylee (K-E-I-L-E-I-G-H) at the Caldwell, Texas Whataburger – she was absolutely phenomenal!
I went in thinking I was just grabbing a quick meal, but my total came out way higher than expected. Keileigh jumped in, asked what I was trying to get, and worked some serious magic to get everything I wanted for under $20. I ended up with:
– A Double Meat Whataburger
– A Grilled Chicken Melt (bacon chicken sandwich) as the $5 add-on special
– Large fries
– Small vanilla shake
All of it came out to less than $20 thanks to her help with deals, add-ons, and smart suggestions. She was super friendly, patient (even when I was stumbling over my order), and genuinely seemed happy to make sure I got the best value possible.
Keileigh is the kind of team member that makes you want to come back. If you’re ever in Caldwell, ask for her – she’s a rockstar!
Highly recommend this location and especially this amazing employee. 5 stars all the way!

Fairly easy to get to write off the street. Typical parking arrangement, spaces on the side of the building opposite the drive-thru with a concrete walkway as a curb, satellite spaces arranged around the perimeter ordering the driveway.
Outside of that it’s a by the Numbers fast food joint, a Whataburger is a Whataburger- what makes them noteworthy is cleanliness and friendliness, and this place is a good example of a good place. I’ve been in before with plenty of parking for my ambulance and the place was clean and tidy, including the restrooms. The staff was friendly and courteous then as this time when I went to the drive-thru. They had the courtesy to advise me that my half-dozen apple pies would take about 7 minutes to cook and make sure I was aware and was okay with it.
Good folks doing a good job, working hard for their money and it shows!

Went in to grab a quick breakfast and stood at the counter for 5 minutes while 3 employees walked past me and did nothing. 2 of them had hats that said “trainer” on them. Worst customer service I’ve experienced at a WB in my life. Do better!!!

Traveling on 12/9/25. Stopped at the Whataburger in Caldwell, Texas for breakfast. Locked keys in my car. The staff were extremely helpful. In particular, Andre’ assisted me to contact roadside assistance, and he and Violeta H. frequently checked on me as I waited for the service tech. My husband and I stopped for late lunch on a Sunday afternoon at the newly opened Whataburger in Caldwell, Texas. We had to stand in line for a few minutes before ordering. Seemed the staff was still working the kinks out.
We received our order in a timely fashion and enjoyed our burgers.
Whataburger is a block or so off Hwy 21 and Hwy 36 and can be accessed from both directions.

We stopped in for another burger on a Saturday evening around 7:00 pm. They have definitely worked the kinks out. They took our order and we received our order in no time. As usual the burgers were great.
