Best clam chowder ever, but there’s an up-charge for it. I hate uncharges for a different soup. But, I’d pay it again, it was that good! I had the 2-piece fish and chips, my matey had the 3-piece. Delicious. Great view from the patio of the river, with ships and boats passing by. We went at 2:30, so there were no crowds. Don’t know about dinner time. Food is very good. Service was great.

Located at the main st. Marine city. The food is high quality. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is family oriented plus the view of the river front. I highly recommend this restaurant and you will not disappointed. Also, the price is right!

The wife and I went for AYCE fish on Friday. We waited at least 30 minutes to seated. Waited another 30 minutes after ordering the Friday fish special. The server was over whelmed with to many tables. Getting a water and iced tea was difficult.
The fish had more breading than fish. I asked for a couple more pieces of the AYCE fish, one for each of us. 15 minutes later one piece came. Again more breading than fish. 45 dollars later and I wasnt impressed.
We wont be going back anytime soon.

It’s not so much about the food at Riviera but the view. The weather was spectacular today and my husband said, “it’s definitely a Riviera breakfast day”. We ordered off of the menu but there was a breakfast buffet offered that looked pretty good. Again, we don’t go here for the food necessarily but if the weather is nice, dining on the patio is so peaceful.

I was visiting my cousin in June and we dined here before a play. First, I’m a shrimpaholic! The shrimp basket I ordered was the most amazing shrimp & fries I’ve ever had!!! So lightly fried with a nice crunch. The fries were crisp and pillowy inside, the shrimp were perfection!

Stopped at this restaurant by chance last year and we made a trip back just for the fish and chips. Of course the views helped too. My husband and I usually split an order of 3 because it’s more than enough. The fish is delicious and fried to perfection with just the right amount of breading. Friendly, and attentive staff, clean bathrooms and again…the view!

We had a party of 4. Three of us had the all you can eat pickeral special. It was excellent. Nice serving size. No need to get more. They substituted the fries for sweet potato fries, no extra charge. One of our group had the Italian wedding soup. It was excellent. The 4th person in our group had the spaghetti. It was a huge bowl. Lots of meat. Our wait person, Emma, was excellent. She had a lovely disposition and was very attentive. Overall an excellent dining experience.
