In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. First the outside of the bag was covered in sour cream and I went in asked for napkins explained reason. He handed me 4 napkins. The food was incorrect on both orders. Ended up going somewhere else, bueno food is good, the service and management makes impossible to get what you pay for….

They greeted me quicky and took my order, like usual. This was immediately after leaving the N May and Grand location, where I was never greeted at all. There was no one in front of me in line at that other location, and a worker behind the counter saw me. I waited more than 5-10 minutes patiently and did not say a word. Then I left and came to this location, which was much better.

I’ve always liked Taco Bueno,so when I noticed one not far from my terminal, I had Uber pick up some for my 3 day wait in the shop. Party tacos and burritos were fine( get what you pay for), didn’t receive the tostada,but the so called B.O.B was a true disgrace. Never,out of all the Buenos I’ve eaten from across the whole country, have I had such a penny pinching,sad tasting burrito. Y’all should have the name removed from your business.

Quite frankly, this location is one of the worst. They appear to be understaffed and wait time just to order food can be upwards of 10 minutes and then when you get to the window, you have to wait some more. Once you do get your food, some of it is hot and some is cold and several times the tortillas or chips taste stale. I have given this place a chance about once every three months and have gone at different times of day, but things seem to be the same no matter what. It is a shame because their food used to be good

This is the only time I can ever remember coming to a fast food Mexican restaurant and it tasting as good as one of the big name Mexican restaurants. I ordered a nacho salad and they didn’t skimp on the cheese all of the chips were covered there was plenty of meat and I added extra beans and rice on the side with guacamole and it was superb. I will definitely be returning

I stood at the counter gpr several minutes while 2 employees were packaging up chips. I finally said can you take my order. The girl just looks at me and then finally hollers at someone in the back. I walked out. I will not be back.

Very hot and miss location. Sometimes l, everything goes smooth and you enjoy your food. One time, the manager was yelling at everyone in the back and completely ruining lunch. Not sure why, but it was horrible. I ended up leaving my food and not even finishing. Just walked out and went to Taco Bell instead. Bad vibe. Just depends on who’s working I guess

I love Taco Bueno, the food is usually the best for fast taco joint.
However this location was way below par.
The staff were unprofessional in both appearance and attitude. The food was cold and the ingredients were skimmed. The burrito was half filled and the taco salad was missing half the ingredients.
The cashier rang me up for the wrong food and I went to return it and they told me after taking my food that I would have to pay for the proper food. After I said that was not right and told them my experience was below par they went and replaced it without charging me.
This location was very disgusting. We visited at 11:00 a.m. on August 4th 2021. All of the tables were dirty and the floors were dirty. Both my wife and I use the restrooms and they too were filthy. The men’s room the paper towel dispenser did not work. There was a foul odor inside the dining room.
We accidentally spilled our drink and they had no napkins to clean the table and did not offer a mop to clean up the mess. We left and sat in the parking lot and watched to see if they were going to clean it. After 30 minutes we left and they have not yet cleaned it.
We understand that they may have been short-staffed however that is no excuse. Cleanliness is a priority above all.
The salsa bar was closed. They did not offer any salsa at the cash register.

I go to this place every now and then because it’s the closest one to my house. They either forget to give me some of my food. Or if you order sour cream, they don’t charge you for it and don’t put it on your food. Like they’re just scamming people left and right. And they never answer their phone

The pics say it all. This is the worst restaurant conditions I have ever seen in my life. The staff was terrible. I had to wait 45 min for a simple order. I ordered inside they locked me in the store and wouldn’t open the door so I could get out. I had to figure out how to unlock the door myself. Never will I go there again!
