I came her on a snowy night eager to enjoy the poutine and beer. The beer part was taken care of with a huge selection. The decor and ambiance was very inviting with the red bricks and tall ceiling. I got the pierogi and found it a tad chewy and lacking flavor. The sour cream made up for it. As a vegetarian I skipped the bacon jam but I hoped the pierogi itself would carry its weight. The poutine arrived and I dug into it. I found this to be on the other end of the salt scale! The gravy was a bit heavy on the rosemary. Overall I didn’t find it to be too pleasant.

My favorite restaurant in Syracuse! I bring everyone I know here because the food is to die for. I absolutely love the Buffalo Ranch poutine. Food is creative, fun and so delicious! And the staff is super welcoming and great workers. 5s across the board 🙂

Best burger I’ve had! The food was great the staff were very friendly and on point and the adult drink/beer selection was unbelievable. I do need to make you aware that it was around 5°f outside and if you’re seated in the front half every time someone comes in or leaves the blast of child air will force you to leave your coat on or at least consider it. Not complaining just explaining. Will definitely go again.

Awesome, that is the only way I can describe my experience at this nice little restaurant. I ordered off their menu and received more than I expected. The burger was cooked just like I liked it medium mooooo. When I have a chance to visit Syracuse again, my first stop is to the Hops Spot, and when asked, I’ll tell everyone about this place. Also, don’t get me started on the beer list. I haven’t seen a selection like this since my time spent in Germany.

I love coming here. They have a whole separate vegan menu which is a huge plus for me. Big comfy booths. Place for kids to play. Big selection of drafts. One of my favorite places to go in Syracuse!

We stopped in for late afternoon drinks on Christmas Eve. We passed so many establishments that were closed we were happy to find an open door with many patrons inside! They are sporting a vast selection of Beers, plus full bar. We enjoyed a variety amongst the four of us between a beer, rose wine for me, martini, and whiskey sours. Was a nice place chat and catch up pre dinner, reminiscent of earlier years at the former PJ Dorsey’s. Friendly enough service with a touch of rye. We had just visited Clayton recently, I’ve included a couple of snap shots of Hop Spot currently closed for season. Someone is peeking out the third story! Love to visit the Clayton location in season, great architecture!

Being our first night out ever in Syracuse, and using Yelp to find this place, our experience was awesome. Julie helped explain the menu, recommend some flight beers, and the bartender made us awesome Rye old Fashions. The food was awesome, Poutine exceptional, and we had a great Sunday night experience.

The Hops Spot provided us with a perfect meal! It’s a nice space with a bar front and center and plenty of seating all around the bar and the entire restaurant.
Our server was kind and attentive, with service being quick and easy. I ordered the Black Cherry Cider and it was wonderful. They have a wide variety of alcohol to choose from so you’ll easily find something to your liking.
Our food really was perfection, the Health Nut Salad with Chicken was fresh and flavorful. The Tex Mex Burger was a perfect medium rare with a combination of flavors and toppings that pleased my palate aplenty. The fries were well seasoned and there was no evidence left of any food ever being on our plates.
We can’t wait to go back and try so much more as the menu has so much to offer. I also noticed they offer a vegan menu and offer substitutions as well for anyone not looking to eat meat. Always love to see that availability and adaptability. Highly recommend. Enjoy!!

Stopped by for dining week and had a great lunch. The food was excellent and fairly priced. We both ordered appetizers and a meal and each of our plates were delicious. It arrived quickly and the service staff were friendly, attentive, and personable.
