Hi Im A Flying Person
I came here a few months ago with my family, it was my first time ever trying hibachi. It was such a fun and cool experience. Our chef, Johnny, was so funny and lively. He is very skilled at what he does. I don’t have a video, but he was juggling an egg and he didn’t drop it at all. It was so cool. For the appetizer, we had calamari. Everyone at our table got the hibachi meal with noodles, rice and protein. The rice was honestly not that good. The noodles tasted much better. The veggies and protein were delicious. Overall we had a great time! I will definitely be back.

Sushi was amazing! Fresh, colorful, perfectly made!. The acoustics are a bit noisy because it’s so open. It could have been that it was busy that day.

Went here for sushi and it was amazing! We sat at the sushi bar and it was so fun to see the people right there making all of the rolls. The food came out very fast for how busy the restaurant was that night and our waitress was very attentive even when sitting at the sushi bar. Each sushi roll was larger than normal and delicious.

I recently visited Sakura Garden and had a somewhat mixed experience. The food itself was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sushi was particularly impressive, with a nice balance of texture and taste. The specialty rolls were creative and well-executed, and the appetizers came out quickly and were hot and satisfying. If you’re going purely for the cuisine, Sakura Garden delivers on quality and flavor.

However, the service left much to be desired. From the beginning, our server seemed uninterested and borderline rude. We weren’t greeted warmly, and any questions about the menu were met with short, dismissive answers. What really stood out was the handling of the wine we ordered — instead of presenting the bottle at the table (as is customary), the server brought over poured glasses without showing the label. It’s a small but important detail that significantly affects the dining experience, especially for guests who care about wine selection.

It’s disappointing because the ambiance is great and the kitchen clearly does a fantastic job. But service plays a major role in the overall dining experience, and in this case, it detracted from what could have been a truly enjoyable evening.

I might consider returning for takeout or a quick lunch at the sushi bar, but I’d be hesitant to recommend Sakura Garden for a special night out unless the service improves.

as a sushi lover i would give this place 4/5 stars. the sushi was great, loved the rolls but it was my first time eating sushi with soy paper not nori. tempura was great as well. we also ordered the salmon habachi and it did not disappoint. also the miso soup was great.

This place blows it out of the water with flavor, quality, and friendly service. I mainly go for take-out as this place is often packed (as it should be, they deserve all the business.)

If you read this – get the Hot Honey roll and the Rising Sun roll. Hot Honey is chicken tempura drizzled with a spicy hot honey – I never thought of such a combonation until I had it here and it was incredible. Rising Sun is chilean sea bass on top of a roll of absolute goodness – I think there’s cream cheese somewhere in there and it is just masterfully crafted.

Amazing 10/10

Edit: made 430pm reservations on New Year’s Eve. Manager came over at 6pm and asked us to leave as they had another reservation. I get it, it’s a holiday and all but we just paid a hefty bill and had no less than 10 minutes to finish our drinks before asked to leave. Once we paid they wanted us out asap. Interesting way to handle the situation.

Always a great, fresh sushi dinner however the pricing is climbing fast.

I went in for lunch today, right after opening on a Wednesday. The hibachi chef had the best energy of any I have ever seen, and even though there were only two of us at the table he went all out and we had smiles on our faces the whole time. Our server Ivy was also amazing. The food was so good that I couldn’t stop myself from eating it long enough to get a picture!! I will definitely be back.
