This is a popular little diner that’s good but not particularly memorable. The breakfast was fine, portions were generous, and the price is very reasonable. Hash browns nice and crispy. The milk gravy was the only disappointing item. It’s thin and flavorless. The overall experience was above average, thus the 4-star rating.

Waited over an hour for eggs n bacon on a Sat morn. Was very busy, but others who came in were finishing their meal when we got served. Was told the frier was having trouble. It worked for the other pattons..
The food was excellent tho! Made up for them forgetting about us.(which is what I think happened).

After a long family trip, we were looking forward to a simple, enjoyable diner meal. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations.
Staff was unwelcoming, the environment was dull and we overheard the manager yelling at other employees. The food was disappointing—sweet potato fries were mostly burnt despite a $4.50 up charge, and the coleslaw (a favorite) tasted very spoiled. When I mentioned it, the response we got was “that’s how it is made”.
We usually leave restaurants feeling satisfied or neutral, but this one stood out and hopefully this feedback is helpful.

Great people, great food. Good prices, Good diner atmosphere, and outstanding service. Great group Love their breakfast as well asvoverall menu choices. especially their club sandwich and coleslaw.

This little out of the way diner was a great pit stop for our road trip. The staff was absolutely pleasant. Being on a road trip as a vegetarian is a little challenging to find good food for me. The Summerton Diner offered a 3 piece vegetable platter that had me wanting seconds of everything. The broccoli and cheese casserole was Soo delicious! The Mac and cheese was crispy on top and creamy on the inside. I was thrilled with every bite. My husband got the turkey club and admitted it was beat thing he’s eaten the whole road trip (over 1200 miles up to that point) Ohh and I almost forgot to mention the sweet tea! The sweet tea was served perfectly cold with crushed ice and it made my day when the server brought us 2 cups to go at the end of our meal. I will definitely try to find my way back here to try more of their dishes in the future. If you’re on the fence take my word for it. This place is worth a try!!

No wonder this place has been around so long.
Server LeAnn is a gem and works the room like a true pro. The burger was yummy, cheese steak on point and hamburger steak delicious smothered in gravy with butter bean.
Open steak roast beef also delicious.
The sweat tea is on every single table simply because it is so darn good!

While on the road returning home from Florida. Tired of fast food. Came here to eat some home style cooking. Was not disappointed. Friendly service. Good food. I had the beef tips over rice with collard greens, fresh coleslaw and a peach crisp. The folks there are genuinely nice.

Cozy little diner less than 2 miles off of I-95. Service was excellent (this was our 2nd time eating bere)! The food was very good (My only complaint was that I did not care at all for the chili on the chili cheese fries). We all had burgers that were excellent, and the batter on the onion rings was awesome! Wish I had more room to try dessert!! Cash only (no debit/credit cards), but ATM inside ($2 fee). Will be back when driving on 95!

It’s such a wonderful little diner! No wonder ‘It’s a Summerton Tradition’! I call in orders every payday to eat on my way home, and it’s always fantastic throughout the entire process. Better prices than most anywhere for the quality of everything there, and I’ll be back regularly!
