I came on Tuesday 3/3 for a little work trip, with about 8 other people in my group. Behind our group was a couple other people as well. There was only one cook and the cashier, Susan.
Susan really did the best job with the lack of support she was provided. My coworkers and I recognized the proactive approach she took to take orders, relay info to the cook, expo, and remain patient and courteous throughout.
I hope she gets the credit she deserves, as she was definitely working very hard during a rush and handling all FOH duties on her own.

This might sound odd but it was my first time ever trying A&W (other than some of their sodas of course).
It was good—the dining room was clean and the staff were very nice. A little pricey, but that’s probably to be expected in touristville.
I was bummed that they’re not actually affiliated, seemingly, with A&W corporate? Or ? I couldn’t use the app / the app didn’t recognize this location.
I did not try a rootbeer float, but I might go back soon to do just that.
I tried the corn dog nuggets which were great – I’d be hard to ruin those, no? I got the 5-piece but they gave me 7—score!
And the chili cheese fries, which were okay. Fries themselves: great and crispy. Cheese , nice. Chili, okay. Very tangy. I’d get them again with just cheese, I think.
The fountain A&W rootbeer was very tasty.
The restroom was, honestly pretty nasty. I think a customer had just trashed it though, to be fair.
Very old building, but that mainly showed in the restroom.
Booths in the dining room are very comfy. I think I’ll be back.

Root Beer float is nothing like it used to be. I don’t know if its because this is a franchise location and they try to penny pinch and think people won’t tell the difference or corporate has decided to cut cost, but they use fountain soda instead of the store made keg root beer from the tap and they use regular soft serve ice cream from a machine and NOT the a&w brand hand scooped ice cream that it is supposed to be. Bottom line it’s nothing like the original. Save your money and just go elsewhere!

Very cool old fashioned place in a fun little area. The owner was amazing and sponsored 2 meals for our High school cheer squad traveling from Ohio to Fl for Cheer Nationals. We didn’t get to eat in unfortunately but I went in to pick up and the staff was very friendly. The Burgers were delicious!! I would recommend the business. I love to give my money to places that give back and the food is quality!

The restaurant was clean. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely nice. The cashier Aidan was extremely courteous and the most helpful cashier and customer service person I have ever had the pleasure to deal with as he recommended some stuff that made up my mind and prove to be the perfect evening with the perfect meal so thank you A&W and thank you, Aidan. He is definitely the model train your new employees after.

I came in because I love the corn dog nuggets and we don’t have a local A&W anymore. $28.30 for a 10 piece corn dog nugget combo and a Large root beer float ?? They were good but the prices are insane. I guess because of the location but geez. The staff was nice and it is a cool little spot but buyer beware. Definitely couldn’t feed a family at these prices.

First Root-beer float in about 40 years…nice,tasty and brings back memories when life was simpler! We had a small drive in in the small town my stepdad was posted to, would go there every weekend till it closed down ! So stop in for a visit and revisit ole memories !

Eli is one of the friendliest and welcoming employees I have encountered never had had a meal at A&W and he gave me a run down of the menu and options with his best recommendations. Burger was amazing too!!

Place is rundown refrigerators need upgraded and all seating is awful. Doe as much people come here this place should look better. This is the worst of the restaurants because how this place is not been fixed in decades. Wish it was more pleasant to shop at this restaurant. Just cause Old Town is a classic doesn’t mean it has to look like junk restaurant.
