This place was amazing! The food was good and the service was as expected. Starting with the food, we got the PNW Grilled Cheese with a side of tomato soup, the Luna Fries, and Strawberry Lemonade. The only thing I have to say wasn’t up to par with the grilled cheese and tomato soup was the lack flavor in the soup. It tasted like spices weren’t used. The grilled cheese was delicious!! The Luna fries were very good but would prefer regular fries with seasoning vs the waffle fries. It was too hard to eat with the toppings on the waffle fries. Also, you leave a lot of the topping once the fries are gone. The service was great but it was busy. The server only came over to our table 2 times within the hour and a half we were there, as stated before; it was busy so it’s as expected. Overall great place and well rounded.

Aslan Brewery absolutely crushes it. Fast service, insanely attentive staff, and a menu that’s simple in the best way—every single thing hits. No overthinking, just amazing food done right. And the beer… next level. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made by people who know exactly what they’re doing. This place has such a great vibe and never misses. One of those spots you keep coming back to because it’s just that good.

Thanks to the GM in bringing the healthy tasty Taco back to the menu. Both open face Taco and the Kale chorizo soup are so delicious and the service is extremely warm, welcoming, and friendly. We must come here for a meal every time that we come back to Bellingham.

So, I hereby offer my review of the Aslan Brewery, located at 1330 N. Forest Street (at the corner of N. Forest and E. Magnolia Streets) in Bellingham, Washington. And to sum it all up, I’ll just say Hell, yeah!
The brewpub has a large, spacious, all-ages family-friendly taproom, full of light (floor-to-ceiling windows), with additional outdoor patio seating during the warmer months. And the place is open seven days a week, offering house-brewed organic beers, and a menu that includes burgers, sandwiches, bowls, and tacos and salads, along with various rotating specials such as the Cubano Sandwich and the French Dip. Next up, I’m looking forward to the Reuben with the corned beef, sauerkraut, provolone, and Russian dressing.
And the organic beers? Definitely a cut above. And the good food, sure. But what really takes this place to the next level? What keeps me going back? It’s the people. Brewpub General Manager Jakob Robbins, the servers, the kitchen crew, the folks who keep it all going. The place has a positive energy, a welcoming vibe.
And so, to sum it all up? I’ll just say Hell, yeah!

Wedding Anniversary dinner- It was busy which means the places is a good place in my book. The young lady right when we got there told us it was a 15min-25-min it she said we can sit in the bar right away. So we sat at the bar which the young lady/bartender was amazing!!! We was so sweet and you can’t tell she knew what she was doing. She recommend every good food and beer she made my food even better recommending adding things. Drinks/food was 10/10 and serve was amazing!!!

Rice bowl delicious
Pickled cucumbers so good and the chili rice was my favorite.
Katsu chicken sandwich needed more flavor.

Politics at a restaurant?? NO ICE sign at the door?? Any establishment that doesn’t support men and women in uniform is trash. Trying to alienate customers based on politics is absolute clownery. Ordered a burger, regretted it. It was basic. The bun was trash, crumbly, stiff, cold, and stale, fell apart while trying to eat it. The fries were good. Beer was the saving grace because it’s organic. It took a good 20 mins to get 2 beers, much longer for food. Server was non existent.

I had the Bacon Pub burger with their Bham Brown – a perfect match-up. Spouse had the Yambonzo burger with Poutine with a mushroom gravy … fantastic food, fantastic service!

Some of the best beers in Bellingham and incredible food to boot! Great vibe and indoor / outdoor seating options. Two giant screens for sports too.

Terrible service, rude disrespectful staff. Was sat at a table and was told to move twice. I asked if there the tables had been reserved and was told they hadn’t been. Was pretty empty for them to be treating customers so poorly. Staff is not attentive at all and created a terrible environment. Lucky Bellingham has plenty of better options in the area. Schweinhaus is one block away and the staff and the atmosphere there are amazing! Don’t come here if you have a group, they get mad and will treat you as if they don’t want your business. Bad attitude’s, it’s ok if you don’t like your job but don’t have to be an ass to the customer’s. Expect long waits even if empty.
