TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

First time trying and will def be back again and again. Customer service was top tier and the manager Nini made us feel so welcome. Food was amazing as well and the rest of the staff made us feel like family while we were there. 10/10 recommend.

The food was great, and the chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I could have gone for a little more spicy, I had mild, and i dont eat spicy foods, so next time up a level. I ordered #3 with a side of mac and cheese and extra pickles. Grab those napkins for sure!

Very nice customer service, I think everyone working front end service greeted us which was about 5 or 6 employees. It is a bit of a wait for your food but the food was delicious. Place was clean and visually it’s nice on the eyes.
Update: I went back to give this place another chance and once again the front end service was perfect, Shania was very friendly and courteous and the food did arrive quicker this time but the hiccup this time was they got my order wrong and didn’t find out until I already left to go home. I’m keeping most of the stars the same but having to drive back up there and fight that crazy parking lot, questions is it worth it at this point.

This was my first time at Dave’s Hot Chicken and everything was great! The food was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. I ordered the #4 with 1 slider and fries, plus the mac and cheese, and everything tasted amazing.
I also want to give a special shoutout to Nene, the manager, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. She really made the experience even better with her great attitude and customer service.
Overall, great food, great service, and a great first impression. I’ll definitely be coming back!

It was my first time visiting and we were actually meant to eat at In n Out burgers. Im so glad we detoured to Dave’s Hot Chicken. We were greeted by Nene the supervisor who made our visit so enjoyable with her outgoing personality and attentiveness to our needs. Lonnie our cashier was amazing and helpful and patience with our choices. The overall experience was great and keep up the good work Nene and Lonnie in your Brentwood location. The food was very good and served quickly . Everyone check them out to see for yourself!!!

My wife and I had a splendid evening at the local Dave’s Hot Chicken in Brentwood, CA. The woman at the front counter (Nini) was super helpful; guiding us through the ordering kiosk and aiding us with our meal selections (based upon our palettes). The meal came out hot and was really fresh. It was really a lot of food for the price. Side note – Whoever was in charge of the restaurant playlist playing in the background has great taste in music. We will definitely be coming back.
