Absolutely delicious! Big fluffy biscuits, perfectly seasoned and juicy chicken, perfect bacon (I like mine crispy!) and lots of hot tots on the side. Thanks to the team member who took our order for the recommendation (The Wonder). We gotta go back for sure. (Love that they sell Mean Mule, locally distilled agave spirits!)

Oh wow! Amazing across the board! Upon entering we were greeted right away and had a chance to look over the menu before we ordered. My husband and I both got the Troost juice. I odered the chicken biscuit with eggs and bacon. He got the smashburger. The biscuits were fresh and soft. The atmosphere was very chill. We enjoyed our food very much. We will for sure be back.

Was so excited to try but Never again. Just gonna go to Churches chicken or KFC. These were the smallest wings I have ever seen in my life. They weren’t fully coated and there was so little meat you could see the bone. They were extremely greasy and it tasted like the grease needs to be changed in the fryer. The fries were absolutely dreadful. Soggy undercooked mess. Entire box was soggy and fell apart. The biscuit was overly salty, no butter provided and was cut apart already which is suspicious. Disappointed ☹️ a likely will not return. A complete waste of money for dinner. So disappointing

Stopped here for breakfast when staying close by and it did not disappoint. Everything was made from scratch and the person helping us had great recommendations. Love that they have vegetarian options as well. Would have been amazing with a mushroom gravy too but they only have sausage. My wife got the fried cauliflower with her biscuit and it was really good — almost needs a sauce or something with it but that and the biscuits were great. I ordered an over easy egg and cheese biscuit and it was also delish. Stronger coffee would have made it a perfect experience. Seating is a little tight inside but they’ve done a good job of utilizing the space. There’s also a nice outdoor seating section when it isn’t crazy hot. Plenty of parking in the lot or on Armour. Definitely put this on your list.

The most delicious and fluffy biscuit, the hot chicken was one of the best I have had outside Nashville…servings were more than enough had leftovers to take home. The Mac and cheese was delicious and the Mac and cheese bombs were nice and crunchy on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside. The staff was extremely friendly and enjoyed chatting with them also. Glad my son recommended will definitely be back. Can’t wait to try breakfast

I stopped in today after driving by the location many times, always meant try it. Well, I can report that I was more than pleased. The biscuit was big, buttery, and tender. The chicken was fried crispy and well seasoned, and there were plenty of hash rounds to fill me up for the day. Don’t go to those other chicken biscuit places!

I ate lunch here around noon on a Thursday. First, there was 90’s/00’s hip hop playing both inside and out which was a perfect vibe set for the experience. Second, I was served by Roux and they were efficient and kind. Third, it was very clean and fast service. Last and most important, the food was AMAZING!!! I got the DB mac and it quite possibly might be the best meal I have had in a very long time. I also got the Benton Boogie shake and it was super super good! I highly recommend coming here!!!

I had never eaten here and the employee was glad to review all of the menu highlights. Very enthusiastic and happy to be working there. Loved his accent. My sandwich was huge and it was fire! All I ate the entire day. Well worth the price. Even had beef bacon! I will go there again! Order took less than 10 minutes I had a very short wait.

absolutely killer. truly perfect biscuits. i got the kc live and the pepper jelly on it was soo good. you absolutely have to try a side of the mac and cheese while you’re here. troost juice is perfect to wash everything down. bummed we don’t live any closer because this is my dream breakfast.

I had the db mac with a side of fried mac and cheese balls and a troost juice. The mac and cheese was indulgent and creamy and the chicken and bacon jam added a satisfying saltiness. The mac and cheese balls were crispy and gooey at the same time. the juice helped lighten it all up with its fruity punch. The vibe felt friendly and unpretentious, exactly what i wanted. i’ll definitely be back for that mac fix again.
