Food was great as always. The Bronx is still my favorite pizza. My son tried a calzone for the first time and loved it.
Our waitress was amazing. Wish I could remember her name though.
The sun was shining right on us for about 30 minutes through a door they dont use. Thinking it could be easy to put up blinds or tint that window. But I understand that it’s only an issue for about an hour out of the day.

Me and my husband love Semmes house of Pizza! We got their catering for our reception and they were wonderful! The food was great, the communication leading up to the event was great, but the people were the best part. Our venue had issues with the cleaning being done before hand and me and my family were stressed trying to clean before and when they came they also helped clean which was an act of kindness not required of them.
We will always support their business and recommend it for a regular meal but also events!

Super delicious! Three of us went for pizza and we all got a different chicken or pasta dish. Great price, great food and friendly staff. Try it!! I’ve actually had the pizza delivered to my job and it’s delicious too.

Great food and service. Really popular with locals. Im pretty sure they make their own sauce because it’s amazing. We have had the pizza, strombolli, manacotti, and the bacon jam burger. DELICIOUS. Santa even visited our table once when it was close to Christmas. This is our new favorite place to eat on Fridays and Saturdays.

Liked the place itself. Service left a lot to be desired. Drinks came quick. Then sat for almost 20 minutes. Looked at several times. Even attempting to flag one server down. No one wanted to take our order. I get busy. But at least say we’ll be with you in a minute. Don’t walk by with a look of resentment that we came in. Even trying to pay for the drinks was met with a slight attitude. Not even a may I ask why you’re leaving. Sad thing is. We are very local and thought it would be nice to go to every now and then. No worries. Not again.

I have heard such great things and was really excited to try this place. This disappointment hit really hard. I really hate leaving negative reviews but always want to be honest. We went on Friday night memorial weekend. While they were slightly busy it was not so much for the lack of service we received. We were never quite sure who our waitress was. We were not given the option of seating and were literally placed right in front of the door. This is hard for my husband as he does have PTSD from being in the military. One waitress took our drink order and gave us menus. She brought our drinks out and took our appetizer order. A completely different lady brought our appetizer out and a third brought our entree. The third lady I’m assuming was our actual waitress. My husband asked for a coke to go and she never brought it.
For the food review: We started with the Fries they are pretty basic and loaded with cheese, bacon, and pickled jalapenos not fresh. The ranch sauce does taste house made over all they were terrible.
The pizza was super greasy and 2/3rd of it looked as though it was thrown together by a toddler. Cheese and toppings didn’t make it but half way to the crust.
The tiramisu dessert was decent and you could taste strong coffee used to make it, but it was slightly warm where you would expect it to be more chilled.
The locals in Semmes seemed to be happy with the mediocre service and food but I was not impressed. I could have overlooked the food if the service had been even a fraction better.

Overall pretty good. Had pepperoni pizza and Italian sub. Both were good, fries very good. Could have used more meat and onions on sub but overall good. Server fast, but almost too fast, she could slow down and be more friendly because they were not busy. They play 70s rock and roll which is cool and not too loud.

Our family is new to semmes and brandon and kayla mckinnell alfa insurance suggested we try out this place and I’m glad we did. This is the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Lots of options to choose from and everything we had was great. 100% one of our new favorite places.
