My aunt made a reservation for our mini reunion with extended family and we had a spot ready near the wood fired oven, an impressive focal point of the restaurant. Staff was friendly and explained favorites on the menu. I had a calzone that tasted great. A fun spot that’s easy accessible with plenty of parking.

Passing through and came across Vermont’s Tap House once we noticed they had a wood fire oven we had to stop. First impression was pleasant with a clean open and busy atmosphere with a friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend if you’re around the area.

On a positive note, the mozzarella sticks serving was generous. Other than that, the food really was not great. You cannot convince me that they didn’t doctor up a DiGiornos pizza and call it their own.

Food was really solid. One person at our table had cold fries and I could see some plates of food sitting for quite a while before being brought to their respective table. Most of ours were still fresh though. Service was very slow and inattentive (albeit friendly). Took a solid 20 minutes before we put in an order, and nobody checked on us until we had all finished.

Our family has both dined in and ordered out.
Our dine in experience was pleasant- clean table, friendly service, not too long of a wait. We ordered the smoked wings and a couple of burgers. The smoked wings weren’t bad, but I wouldn’t order them again. The burgers were ok too but there are better places in town.
Our take out experience was more satisfying, food wise. We had a gf pizza, a regular pizza, and a Philly cheesesteak. The pizzas were great, the Philly needed more cheese but was otherwise good.
Bottom line- stick with the pizza.

I have been here several times and when my party has ordered food, at least one if not all orders were wrong. They often are slow and can’t seem to follow directions. My first visit had me waiting 45 minutes just to get a beer! It’s a Tap House! The best thing about it is there are a plethora of beers on tap. It’s also a great place to meet up if you have a large group of people. That was my visit last night. The bar tender was great but the place lacked anyone bussing tables so our table became over laden with dishes and empty glasses. My overall experience was a happy one because of the company I was with, but not because of the environment of the restaurant.

Stopped in for pizza and a beer after a day at Killington. They have a great beer menu with 28 rotating craft beer taps from local breweries and larger national brands. We got the pepperoni pizza and it was solid, sauce was a little sweet. Service was professional but slow for the amount of people there. Prices are high but not outrageous.

The food was delicious! The pizzas are excellent and you can order gluten free. The GF pizza is pretty good. We got Hawaiian. The beer flight is a good deal. I recommend the Camp Shandy Shore. The burger is quite substantial. The sweet potato fries are not to be missed. The cobb salad is enough for four people. The atmosphere is pleasant. It was a late lunch early dinner so there weren’t many customers. But the bar was busy and the oven was fired up and cooking pizza nonstop. A definite must eat if you’re in Rutland VT or within an hour.
