I don’t get wowed by BBQ often, and I have been to a lot, but this was DELICIOUS! Had the 10 oz turkey plate w broccoli and sweet potato. Plenty for two people and everything was perfectly perfect. Casual place with a hometown feel… I Will drive North this route just to come here again!

This is my first time here as I was visiting the Grotto. I’m truly glad I found this place! This place is easy to access and is very clean inside. I ordered the half rack of ribs and they were delicious. The waitress recommended the pepper slaw and it was quite good. My family member ordered a brisket sandwich and it came with a house made white BBQ sauce… (now let me tell you that sauce needs a patent!). As for my other family member they ordered the fully loaded Chicago Dog and they really enjoyed it. Bollinger’s has been around since 1946 and they will continue to serve fantastic food!

Went to Bollinger’s Restaurant for lunch yesterday during Colorfest. The brisket sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. They were extremely busy, but the staff was still very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place if you like great BBQ!

Update: Our second visit was as good as the first. Offically our favorite bbq/brewery in the area.
We just had our first dinner here. I had the 1/2 rack of ribs with baker and pepper slaw. My wife had the chicken wings. Both were delicious. And the brewery beers! I had the mango jalapeño draft. My wife had a strawberry flavored brew. Both were excellent. Our server, Aaliyah, was friendly, prompt and just a joy. We are fulltime RVers and love visiting local spots. This one ranks with the best. We will be back!

Fantastic BBQ. The Ruben is one of the best around. Full rack and pulled pork were out of this world. The buffalo wings were a tad too spicy for my kids but I like them. Service was good but we never got drink refills after asking. Prices were very affordable. I do wish people had more decorum when eating at a restaurant, shirts with sleeves, no hats at the table, etc…

Traveling through Thurmont we spotted Bollingers Restaurant, we decided to go in and see what was on the menu. We were very happy with our decision as the food was wonderful. Crab cakes were very good !

Being from Eastern North Carolina, I judge bbq like pitmasters.lol This place is great. Great vinegar based sauce. My favorite is breakfast. They have the best omelettes ever. I wish it was 7 days a week. What really impressed me the most is Im only here working and the staff has treated me like family. They know my name when I come in and take time to get to know their patrons. One of the few restaurants across the country I have visited that I will actually miss or make a special trip back to. They just don’t miss on any meal I’ve had. Thank yall!!

I’ve had a lot of barbecue, but this was literally the best barbecue I’ve ever had. I had the Cuban and I nearly cried tears of joy. This was after a marathon hike and I’m pretty sure it healed me. Service was also extremely quick. Anyway, I’ll be coming back anytime I’m in the area 100%. Thank you guys!

I normally love this place and have no issues. I came in yesterday to eat and got the slider flight. My waitress was the only waitress there and was working her butt off, she was excellent. I also received a bowl of chili. I picked out 3 separate pieces of hair from my food. That’s nasty. Like I said, I normally love this place and have never had issues before!
