Self sign in sheet by front door if greeter not available. Waiting benches for you and party. Must wait to be seated. Ample space inside. Parking is a bit tight. Staff seems eager to serve and the kitchen staff are moving steadily. This was my first visit. Cons; no refills on soft serve drinks. You’ll get a cup of ice and a can of your beverage. Same for the Agua fresca. Complementary chips and salsa.

This place it was good before the pandemic, I been a costumer for few years and I believe I’m done with them, the food has decline in quality. I understand they have to increase the prices but not decreased the quantity, as well as the service. We had to wait more than half hour for a caldo de pollo and a molcajete ( chicken soup and a fajita stile meal) in an almost empty restaurant. The server, after she brought us our food she disappeared, we basically had to fish for her to get us a glass of water and don’t even think about picking up our dirty dishes., I thought it was only our server but while we were leaving the restaurant I noticed that they were a least 5 tables full of dirty dishes, I can’t believe my eyes when I got mi bill and they charge $3..99 for a 12oz can of soda.

Very good, authentic Mexican food. If you are not into Birria they have plenty of other dishes to choose from. All very delicious.
They are understaffed so you wait if it’s busy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The cost is average, about 20.00 per plate, but the quality and taste is well worth the cost. Enjoy!

Great breakfast we had here. Strong coffee, great horchata, hefty helpings of food and wonderful flavor. Great find driving home from Long Beach. I live 100 miles away, but would find my way back if I am ever in the area again.

Haven’t been to this place for years. I almost forgot about this place. I was in the neighborhood last night then I saw it. So my wife and I decided to stop by and see if the food was still as good as it used to. “It didn’t disappoint” food is great as always. Service was fast and waitress was very attentive. Considering the Covid-19, wait time was just 20min. Keep in mind the place can only service 25% capacity. Please stop by and check it out. You won’t be disappointed. Make sure you ask for the hand Mae tortillas. They are the best. Enjoy!!!!!

I do not live in the LA, area any longer but when we visit from Ventura county it’s definitely our favorite spot to go & have our breakfast which never seems to get old @ food is always amazing whatever you order !!! The molcajete ila la Mexicana is definitely one of our favorites & the tostadas de camaron. Good job LA Barca
