My husband had the prime rib. He was in heaven. He said the flavor was amazing. My sister and I had the fish and chips. It wasn’t greasy at all. The fish breading was beautifully crisp and we were served two very large pieces of tender flakiness. There was ample parking. We were seated right away and the popcorn was super yummy! The French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had! It had onion strings and green onions and cheese on top. Delish!! And since it as my birthday we got a piece of Oreo cheesecake that was magnificent even though I don’t like cheesecake that much. Service was very prompt and attentive.

This place was a longtime favorite of ours, but not anymore. The prices have doubled over just a few years, and there are no specials or drink specials. The other day we wanted to give it a try again and ordered the gyros. The meat was so incredibly salty, I couldn’t finish the meal. Of course, these things happen, and many of the dishes are good, but when you are paying $28 for a grilled chicken meal or $20 for a salad it better be pretty spot on. Giving up on this once “great place to be.”

Tyler, our waiter, was amazing! He was great with kids, super attentive and funny! Atmosphere was warm (as restaurants are always cold lately!) and they had live music (not too loud where you couldn’t talk) which is hard to find. Food was incredible. Saganaki came out to perfection, gyros were incredibly flavorful and kids loved their pasta! Thank you Squire (and Tyler) for making our Saturday night a great night out!

Roast garlic appetizer was unique and was really substantial as it came with bread and some vegetables. The gyro dinner was a bit light but it definitely tasted good. The seasonal ribs were cooked perfectly with delicious BBQ sauce.

We drove there for the Grinch decorations and food. Since the moment we entered the restaurant it didn’t feel clean. The quality of the food was not good. The French onion was not good.. No flavor. Fries felt like reheated. Chicken sandwich very dry. The prices don’t agree with the quality of the food. The whole experience in the restaurant doesn’t agree with what they are promoting in social media. Very disappointed.

The mushrooms were good but what was Chicagoan about them? Both the squire melt and blue cheese bacon burger were cooked to our liking. Food is a little bit salty but not atrociously so. They have Coke Zero on tap!
The one thing I really want people to know if that the water on tap is well water however you can get filtered water from the bar, just ask.
Also, I have never seen mouthwash in the bathroom before I am impressed! I wish more restaurants did this lol

Ok people, this place is a must come to wherever u live, everything and i mean everything was perfect, we had the bob’s broasted chicken and the chicken and ribs combo, super friendly staff, fast service and great medieval theme atmosphere.
Would definitely comeback for their outdoor dinner experience.
