Food is always fantastic. The patio is beautiful. Inside is lovely. Service is always SO great and friendly. Did I mention the food being excellent? Feb 2, 2026 I took my husband here for his BDay night. My providers bragged bout this restaurant, of course my co workers are all white. Keep this in mind. We order a Mexican plate and pasta. My Mex plate was Not Good At All but my husband’s pasta was a lot better. Our waiter asked me if I was done with mine and said yes. He said, but you didn’t finish it I told him I did not like it, no flavor. He didn’t even bother to ask me would you like something else or I am sorry. Nothing…. I also told him it was his Bday. He said we give shots. My husband does not drink, I asked instead of that can you bring him some dessert. He said, we charge for that. Not everyone drinks alcohol and what do you do when it’s a BDay teen or kid. You offer them alcohol shots too?!?! Very disappointed and also that evening mostly white folks there too. Except for the workers. So that can tell you a lot of the food experience as well. Not gonna lie but I will give you guys another chance…

I started off with the guacamole. It was completely flavorless, but the reviews say the place is good and why would the internet lie? So whatever, maybe it was just one miss. Thus, I ordered a meal too, despite my mouth warning me against it.
For the main, I had the carne a la tampiquena with poblanas. Literally only could suffer a few bites before I asked for a box “to go” and then threw it away in the first dumpster I could find.
This is cafeteria food made for an old folks home, with the clientele to match. It would be less pathetic of a showing if the food was microwaved. Sadly, someone put effort into this, as if racing down a one-way road… the wrong way.
I actually ubered to get here. What a wasted evening.

My first time at SolLuna, and I wished my breakfast could have been one that I could highly recommend but unfortunately it was a disappointment. The eggs were overcooked and dry, the potatoes and the Barbacoa were cold. My dad only ate one Cabrito taco again, cold food and not tasty. I am definitely coming back to try the dinner menu and hope for a better experience.

First time here yesterday and there was not a long wait for a Saturday afternoon which was nice. Chips and salsa were good, as well as the cucumber martini. Our waitress, however, was not on point, and it was clear to us the tables around us were frustrated with her too. She was slow and had an attitude when you would ask for things. Ordered the enchiladas Solunas and there was so much cheese, and it tasted like Parmesan too, which was odd for enchiladas. I would have expected cotija or Monterray jack. So taste overall was not good. Table next to use sent there plates back for being cold and another for flavor. Overall, I don’t think I will be coming back here.

Had a lovely dinner at Soluna with my partner and mother-in-law. She absolutely loved it – knew we had to bring her here while she was in town. The service was excellent, and our entrees were delicious. Here’s to next time!
