Our founder Rusty Fenton’s dream was to bring the authentic taco stand experience to local communities and to become the neighborhood taco stand. The dream became reality when the first Rusty Taco opened in a converted gas station on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, TX in 2010. But Rusty Taco is more than just a place for street tacos. Rusty also believed in serving the community and creating a place where people from all walks of life can come together and feel welcome. We are passionate about what we do and keep our menu fresh and simple. Deliciously uncomplicated tacos crafted by hand with recipes created by our founder, who famously said: “Tacos are the Most Important Meal of the Day®”!

Highly recommend the Dynamite Shrimp Taco – this is by far my favorite! The Rusty Taco is also good and has a little kick. The brisket taco was good but not as flavorful as the others. We ordered to go.

Fast service and legit BBQ nachos! Tacos are pretty solid. The birria are incredible when they’re fresh. Ours were a bit older so the cheese inside wasn’t warm and melty, but still a great flavor.

We stopped by for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon and had a great experience. The food is delicious and the employees are kind. They do yell out your name to pick up your order, but it wasn’t disruptive to my meal. I had two different breakfast tacos (served all day) and they were very good. Highly recommend the margaritas.

Love coming here after a long night of work. They open at 7am with a breakfast menu plus the full menu. The Margaritas are all delicious. 1 gets you a lil tipsy.

The food is delicious. The pork tacos with pineapple are amazing. My only complaint would be the corn tortillas need to use 2 for the tacos they fall apart with only 1. Otherwise I love this place and I have been recommending it to my friends and family.

My last visit to this place was disappointing from beginning to end. The customer service rep acted as if he didn’t want to be there—unmotivated, unfriendly, and with a noticeably poor attitude. The food was overcooked, overly salted, and the margaritas were watered down.
This used to be my go‑to spot, but over the past few visits I’ve seen a clear decline in both food quality and service, all while prices continue to rise. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this place and will be taking my business elsewhere.

The guy at the front counter taking our order seems like he was only there to receive a paycheck he wasn’t able to answer any basic questions about the menu. The cleanliness of the floor was not great. The floor was sticky. The food was great though

Rusty Taco is my number one taco place for the last 8 years.
From breakfast tacos at 7 AM —> to going in at lunch and ordering me some grilled shrimp tacos and chips and queso
Or even random dates to the patio where I find myself ordering a margarita flight.
I’ve ate about every single thing this menu has to offer! Haven’t met an item I didn’t like.
Through the years I’ve noticed subtle changes- sometimes longer waits or not every table is cleaned.
My last few stops in the store has been very clean, my wait time super fast and just the quality of the tacos has been ON POINT.
I can not recommend rusty taco enough and will never stop.

We stopped here after a game just down the street. We honestly came here because of the reviews. In today’s world there seems to be a ton of taco places, but this place did not disappoint. The two guys working were nice and helpful and the food was really good. We got a variety of tacos and some chips with salsa and we all really enjoyed it.

This restaurant is located just west of 146th & Maple on the south side of Maple street. They offer take-out and dine in accommodations. You can eat your food inside or outside on the deck. Very warm nice decor which gives you the ideal taco dining experience. Male staff cashier very friendly and professional. I would recommend this restaurant for family dining, office party and as well as adult night out dining. The food was season and prepared well.
