I got the five nights at Freddy promo cup food set.
For the price not good, chicken smelled funny, all the food was cold. I went through the drive through at 11pm.
3 tenders and fries. 1 of the tenders shouldn’t have even been served. The should have given me a different or extra piece.
The dessert that comes with it is very sweet very sugary.
This particular restaurant isn’t going to be my first choice.

11-8-25, 12:45pm. Ordered 2 piece chicken meal, which comes with 1 biscuit, 1 side and a drink. I received 1 puny, dried up, tough as leather drumstick. 1 fatty breast. The biscuit was as tough as the drumstick. All items were cold. Purchased through drive up window. I should have known better when I was handed the bag within 2 minutes…. it is a good thing I had a coupon. I threw it away, I didn’t feel like getting sick today. I don’t know how long the chicken had been sitting, but I would worry about a customer getting food poisoning. I ate a little bit of the crispy skin, just a few crumbles. I had acid reflux in my throat and had to chew Tums. Again, that was from eating the CRUMBLES of the crispy skin. Maybe old oil? I was like that for approximately 4 hours. Pictures attached.

I ordered from this place some 5 chicken tenders, a classic checken sandwich and a larger coleslaw. The classic sandwich was nice, the coleslaw and the biscuit were tasty, but the tenders were abit dry and cold probably prepared sometime ago. I did not like any of the sauces. Overall, it was good but not the best place to order from. Normally they always do some discounts also.

I had a bad experience the last time I went to Popeyes so I haven’t been in a long time. I finally went back and I ordered a family meal. The lady at the drive thru didn’t even wait to see if I needed anything else just gave me a price and disconnected her speaker. I thought I misheard her on the price, because my order was almost $20 more than the price on the menu board. I get up to the window and no I didn’t mishear her. I questioned her on the price and she said the side I ordered is $1 more and I got 2, which would have made my order still $16 less than what I was being charged. She couldn’t give me a reason as to why the price was different and she said couldn’t adjust it at all. She just kept saying she could let the manager know. Then tells me there is a coupon that could make it cheaper I said ok give me that. She said no you have to have it…like what?!?!?! So I look online for a coupon, and she is going to ask me to get out of line and go through the drive thru again. I flat out said no…I found the coupon and gave her the code. I still over paid but it wasn’t by $20….I get the food home and the chicken is not cooked properly, the sides tasted like they were sitting under heat lamps for way to long, none of the food would have been worth even the correct price let alone the overpriced amount I paid. The customer service, the knowledge of their P.O.S. system and the quality of food was horrible. I have worked jobs like this in the past and if I or any of my employees treated a customer like I was treated or served them food that I brought home tonight…they would have been wrote up or fired. This place needs to do way better.

This place and Rally’s is the only fast-food place I would eat at if I had to, especially on that stretch of MLK. Service is not a word that exists on this side of town unfortunately. However, If you want a good laugh and have a half hour+ go to the drive-thru at McDonald’s on MLK. It’s like one of those restaurants that it’s a gimmick to treat It’s customers like crap, that McDonald’s is consistently the worst fast food restaurant I’ve ever visited in my 40 years. That includes metro Detroit. Bon appétit!

Two large Mac n cheese one half full the second with I suppose “extra special seasoning” paper of some sort inside of my Mac n cheese. Red bean n rice large half full. Biscuits hard. Not cool. Chicken on point. Fries meh worth 75.42 no I don’t agree. SMH. ‍♀️ people if your job is food please make sure you serve something you would serve your grandmother or mother.

Being a lover of Popeyes, I was sad to give this location a 2 star. While service was fairly quick considering, we were disappointed with the fries. I’m not sure if it is a locational thing, but the large fry here was $5.19 and it was half the size of the fry box of a large fry we have gotten at other locations. It felt very underwhelming considering the price we paid. Plus the unfortunately the fries were cold. Our chicken sandwiches were good and standard to par, but the size of the sandwiches were the same size as the fry serving and two dollars cheaper. Again, nothing against the staff.

I use to manage a Popeyes here in Lansing back in the 80s. I haven’t had it in a long time. I received some coupons and gave it a try. It brought back some good memories. Chicken was great! Biscuits were a lil dry but tasty.
