Great place. They give you a lot of pizza for the price. There’s red pepper flakes and mozzarella to sprinkle on your pizza at most of the tables or on the side of the front counter. My friends and I tried BBQ Chicken, Meikel, Tomato Basil, and Pesto Pizzas (pictured is the Pesto), and they all tasted great. Definitely recommend. Parking is across the street, btw.

I went to eat there today with my family and we waited and waited for someone to even help us, then we waited and waited for the pizzas. 25 minutes later they gave us two burned gluten free pizzas. I told the server and cook that I would like a return of my money because my pizza was burned and asked to get my money back. While waiting there I saw that they had also burned my son’s three meats pizza and I decided to tell the girl that I wanted my money back from my sons’ pizzas too because they were never delivered to them. I could hear the girl who burned the pizzas telling her boss in Spanish that the pizza was not burned and started arguing with me and had so much attitude. I have been going with my family to that pizza place for years and I have never encountered someone with such bad customer service skills working there. They never returned my money and told me that they were going to do that electronically, so my boys and I didn’t eat and paid them about $52. If I do not receive my money back soon I will go ahead and put a BBB complaint. You guys lost a customer because I am never returning there to eat with my family. At the end of the day i didn’t even get the pizzas and they still charged me.
Update: The manager of the restaurant contacted me and gave me a refund. She also offered me a 25 gift card and apologized for the bad service. I haven’t reached out to them to get the $25 gift card yet, but I will.

SLAB continues to impress me each time I visit! The decor, the music, the cool college students hanging out, and the amazing food! It is tasty, satisfying and a great deal. The service is fast, friendly, and the employees are always willing to listen, help and problem solve. The owner is phenomenally positive, kind and works alongside the others to help things run smoothly. Modifications to toppings are always allowed (you want arugula & rosemary dust on top? Just ask!) and a gluten free crust is no problem here. The dining area, kitchen and bathroom are all exceptionally clean. This is even more remarkable given the sheer number of customers served daily. My nephew wrote his college application essay about SLAB pizza, and HE WAS ACCEPTED! THANKS SLAB!! Your pizza is second only to your high quality service!

The food was great! The ingredients tasted fresh, they have all the condiments you need and the dough was very crispy and delicious. Although they didn’t have ranch so that’s not good.
I just think the building itself is pretty dead. I know the location doesn’t help but it’s very quiet and unlively here. This place also attracts immodest young adults that don’t care about manners and cleaning up after themselves.
The restaurant itself is great. It’s the location and the regular customers I have issues with.

Met the owner/manager 8 years ago; we live out of state and he still remembers us. Moved 1200 miles away and go out of my way once a year to eat here. Food, service, atmosphere, and even customers have always been five-star quality. 11/10
They even have many options for all kinds of food allergies and dietary restrictions. I would rate 12/10 but there is no handicapped accessibility. But there is nothing that SLABpizza can do about that. Just go and thank me later.

I haven’t been to Slab for many years, so when my wife and I had a recent pizza craving, I was surprised that this came to mind. She’d never been, so I was really hoping that it was still good all these years later. We were not disappointed at all. Slab has maintained impeccable quality and even kept the prices to a very reasonable level. The pizza was delicious. You do have to eat it kind of fast because the crust gets a little harder to chew as it ages. But I can wholeheartedly recommend this place next time you need to please your pizza-craving spouse.

Fun little pizza joint with excellent salads and pizzas. Parking was difficult to find because of all the student housing around, but the food was delicious and I would eat here again.
