I ordered the fall special breakfast of two eggs over maple glazed roasted sweet potatoes and butcher cut pork belly. It was very good. A nice touch of maple without being overbearing. The coffee was good, hot, and frequently refilled. The diner was very clean. Great stop on our way through Danbury.

I love going to diners this place was amazing the food portions were huge the food was delicious the price was perfect the staff was friendly I can’t wait to drive through Danbury Connecticut again just so I can eat there I highly recommended as a pit stop if you’re going to New York

My review is a bit situations because we went in as it was close to closing so this could’ve influenced this. The food was alright I mean the fries had great crunch and were hot and were very fresh but it had no flavor or atleast not in my opinion, I ordered the burger as a medium rare but I got a medium well, the patty also didn’t have alot of flavor to it aswell, it didn’t have tomatoes so maybe it lacked the juiciness and flavor because of that. The look was really cool though I loved the overall atmosphere of the restaurant and would like to come back

True diner experience. Food was delicious and fresh. Not many vegetarian offerings, but I managed with some nice veggie sides (fresh, not frozen) and breakfast potatoes for breakfast. My daughter ate banana nut pancakes and they were delicious. Coffee was good and plentiful. Service was excellent and attentive.

Went to this diner earlier today and was blown away by how caring the staff was! We were checked in on every 5 minutes or so by an extremely kind woman that made sure we were satisfied. I did experience some reflux a few hours after eating here but it’s important to note that the food was of very good quality (and delicious) and it was most likely caused by issues of my own stomach, not the food itself. I will come again! Thank you Mill Plain Diner for such a wonderful meal!

I am from NY and my daughter and Grandkids live in Massachusetts. We met there because it is have way for both of us. My daughter has been there a few times. I ordered fried chicken and waffles and it was delicious. My husband and I both ordered chocolate egg creams and it was the best I have had in many years. We were all happy with our food. The waitress was friendly and wonderful. I will be back and definitely will recommend it to all.
