I visited State of Mind Public House for pizza before heading to the 49er game. Great place to hangout and watch football. We had a Pepperoni pizza and a Barebottle Brewing Hazy IPA. Delicious. The Pizza was cooked just right. Thin, but able to fold and eat perfectly without losing any toppings. Crust was light and didnt make me feel bad later. The servers were fantastic, and couldn’t wait to refill our drinks! GREAT EXPERIENCE!

Go to spot for some beer and American tapas LOL we always get a pitcher of cider or some beers ATLEAST (the very least) two orders of the fried pickle onions (it’s like how onion rings were meant to be), we also love the brussel sprout pizza although the one in the photo is the jalapeno honey one, the impossible nuggets r good, the fried zucchini is good, cauliflower wings r also good. There is also a nice little arcade area at this location.
I wouldn’t recommend the burrata or any of the other fried things as much but everything here is worth a try.

We have been to State of Mind a couple times and we have always been impressed. The food has always been fresh and delicious, and we appreciate the gluten free pizza option as well. There are plenty of food options for little ones, and the restaurant is very family friendly.
State of Mind has a solid selection of beers brewed in California, and they have a wide range of styles as well.

Great pizza, like top 3 I’ve had in the bay area.
Went on a friends recommendation and it did not disappoint.
Crust was good but a bit floppy in the middle. Good flavors and the pricing was also quite fair for the location and pizza.
Parking however is miserable so try to get there early.

Great pizza and bar. Great wings and salads. Service is weak. You need to flag down servers to get things. Food is served as it comes up which means you get appetizers after the mains, sometimes. Worse, you tip when you order so there is little incentive for improving. Very loud. But we go back for the food.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at State of Mind Pizzeria and Brewery in Los Altos, CA, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the unique and delicious “Heat and Sweet” pizza to the scrumptious jalapeño poppers, each bite was a delight. The atmosphere was vibrant and perfect for sports enthusiasts; I enjoyed watching a Real Madrid Champions League match during my visit. Additionally, the California Creamin’ beer was a standout—refreshingly smooth and perfectly complemented the meal. State of Mind has mastered the art of combining great food, a fun environment, and excellent service. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-notch pizza and a great time in Los Altos!

State of mind is the best pizza in the area. Hands down, and their fries and ranch are straight gas as well. The only downside of this place is walk-ins on a busy evening might take an hour to be seated. Also, the Grandma Pie is great but they have limited availability and it tends to be unavailable in the later evening times. There are lots of great pizza options for vegetarians here. My favorite is just the plain cheese.
