Good spot, not a lot of parking due to a busy street as well as people rallying. Ordered the chilaquiles- okay, not very authentic,, but okay. Sauce can improve. The Balance Bowl, okay. However, the chicken mango bowl was something to talk about. Very tasty and colorful with all the right ingredients particularly for a hot day.

This place was very popular on Saturday! So come early and put your name down. We got sat about 30 mins after, which isn’t bad considering every table was full and there were 10+ people ahead of us.
Drink: I couldn’t decide between the spicy matcha or the turmeric latte and asked the server, he recommend the turmeric latte with almond milk. It did not disappoint! It was creamy, rich and flavorful. I highly recommend this.
Food: I got the special, spicy chicken huevos Oaxaca! It was sooo good. The tortillas were crispy, the egg perfectly runny, the chicken had a kick and bursting with a lot of flavor. The salad was decent as well. My cousin got the Yucatan omelet, and I didn’t get to taste it but he said that’s his favorite and ate the whole thing. We shared an order of pancakes and that was very good, too. Highly recommend to share with the table if you want something semi sweet but prefer savory breakfast instead, like us!
The outdoor patio was filled, it was a little loud the day we went since there was a protest across the street at the city hall, but overall the place was located near a couple of parking structures and a short walk from both. The service was great, and the food came out quickly. The other team members were very attentive and refilled our waters without having to ask.
I HIGHLY recommend this place for lunch and brunch.

Oh my goodness their pancakes are so great. I’ve had their buttermilk pancakes and their blueberry corn pancakes and they’re fantastic. Great size, perfect texture, distinct taste. I’ve also had their guac and their turkey sandwich and they’re amazing. Note that this place gets incredibly packed on weekends because of how good it is.

What a gem of a restaurant. The food is incredible, The atmosphere easy and warm. My waitress, Michelle was the best- great suggestions for a perfect brunch. I will definitely be back next time I am in town. So glad I found it. You can tell the staff appreciate and respect one another and that adds a family vibe to the place. The ginger shot and the delivery was perfect. Thank you. p.s. the carrot cake and the espresso are legit.

First time customer & couldn’t be more pleased with my experience! Stumbled upon this cute place while looking for a cafe to get some work done. I was greeted with warmth, smiles, recommendations for drinks/bites, and swift access to their WiFi. I had an incredible server (Bradley) who suggested the watermelon lemonade (I’m not a huge fan on watermelon), but he promised it would be worth my while. If I happened to dislike it, he told he me he would bring me whatever drink I wanted free of charge. Well, that wasn’t needed because the watermelon lemonade was FANTASTIC!!! I liked it so much I got a few refills.
Tuna melt on sourdough was phenomenal… I got a side Cesar salad and was equally impressed by their lovely additions. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place, the environment, the quality of food, etc etc etc.
HUGE shout out to my server, Bradley!! One of the kindest humans I have ever met, truly. Come for the food, stay for the vibes, and request for Bradley! He will take great care & go the extra mile for all his costumers. He made my experience that much better!!!

It’s a great place for a weekend brunch. I arrived around 10 am on a Sunday and there was no wait time. They have great outdoor sitting and the noise was moderate. I order à breakfast quesadilla that was delicious. Hostess was great, very welcoming and friendly. Waiter was ok.

Yeah, I don’t go 5 stars much, but our food, our coffee, our table was bonkers. The Huevos Rancheros was delish and unusual in the ingredients, the pancakes remind me of the best pancakes I ever had in Chicago, from a place that closed. I did not want it to end, it was THAT good.

Colleague and I wanted something new so we saw this place online. It was a chilly day & no sitting inside so had to sit outside. I’m not a fan of sitting outside eating in chilly air. Makes my food cold faster. We sat outside anyways, because they did have heaters. The heaters near us weren’t working and it took them about 10 minutes to change out the propane and finally warmth.
On to the service…our server was super sweet and engaging. She made the experience nice.
I had the wagyu cheeseburger with grilled onions. This was one of the better burgers for the price that I’ve had in a long time. Very juicy and flavorful.
My colleague had chilaquiles and she loved it. Everything was great even our drinks. She had the ginger lemonade and I had the watermelon. Very refreshing.
Definitely recommend this cafe and can’t wait to come and try the blueberry corn cakes.
