The dining room is beautiful and clean the staff was friendly but I ordered 1/2 a blt and a salad. I got charged $2 for avocado I didn’t want or ask for. If it comes on the sandwich then why did I get charged for it. I also got charged another $2 maybe for a salad but I’m not sure. The food came out very quickly. My husband got the New Yorker and he was very happy with it. My salad was a soggy mess and even though my food came out quick the bread was also a soggy mess. $38.69 for lunch I didn’t eat. Dissapointed.

I usually have a good experience at this McAlister’s but today, the food and services were lacking. The cashier who took mine and my friend’s order, checked our receipts for a tip in-front of us. When she didn’t like what she saw, she gave us dirty looks and became standoffish when getting our drinks. I also ordered the nacho basket which when it came, the cheese was cold and the chips were lacking, and was not worth the price of $9.99. Please do better.

Sandwiches aren’t bad a little over priced. The Salads are very good. Mac-N-Cheese I wouldn’t feed to my worst enemy. I’m not even sure if it actually had noodles in it they were beyond over cooked. Tasted more like soggy oatmeal.

I have had better experiences at this location. Several of the usual choices were unavailable ( was told 45 minutes for a baked potato ). And a few of the sides also not available. Selected our items and waited 25 minutes for our food to arrive. I did find the restaurant clean and well organized. When the food did arrive, it was delivered with an extra side order of unnecessary attitude. Entrees delivered minus avocado and when I inquired about it, I received not quality pieces ( see included photo ). I hope future customers do not experience the same things I did.

I ordered the French Dip, which was really delicious. The McAllister famous sweet tea was really good too. There are plenty of seats, tables and booths. There is a free parking lot on site. I highly recommend stopping here for a bite to eat.

The Ocala fl location used to be good, however the past couple years it’s gone downhill. They really skimp you on the salads in a criminal way. Its awful, not even a decent size. The villages fl location is great, so it must be the management here. I am really disappointed with this location in ocala fl. The Orders are wrong almost every time. I personally will never go here again.

I have been to McAllister’s maybe 15 years ago in NM and it was about average a well. Mildly better than Subway but less exciting than Panera Bread. They have potatoes but I’ve never tried them. For two people both having a sandwich and a cup of soup as the side and two beverages it was $50. And they did offer a military discount. Saving us 10% so that was nice. Most places don’t have that. The chicken salad sandwich on the crescent was just meh, same with the potato soup. My sister had the Ruben and said it was good. It’s just nothing I’d go back to again or ever tell anyone as a recommendation. There really isn’t any flavor or anything special about the place.
There were some tables with trash on them so you can tell the staff isn’t able to pay attention to that and the line was very slow and only 2 people ahead of us.
It’s not that it’s bad … just not good either. It’s hard to explain… maybe I’m not ordering the best item. Who knows.

This place is a complete ripoff!
I ordered the Choose 2, with a Chicken Ceaser wrap and Chicken Tortilla soup. The soup was good, and the amount of what to be expected. But the wrap was embarrassing for the restaurant to serve. It was literally the size of 2 chicken nuggets with almost no lettuce. It was equivalent to a quarter of one of their sandwiches, for $12!!! The kids meals were bigger for half the cost.
I’ll never go back, this place is a joke!
