I recently dined at Bamboo House, and it was an outstanding experience! The highlight was definitely the half duck dish, which was crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and packed with amazing flavor. It was definitely worth every penny. My wife enjoyed a fantastic pork stir-fry and a mixed fried rice, both bursting with flavor.
I also want to mention that there’s a new chef at Bamboo House, and the food has truly elevated since my last visit. Samantha, our wonderful server, remembered me and provided exceptional service.
She even guided us on how to enjoy the duck, which came with a unique combination of duck soup and pancakes. The entire meal was a delightful journey of flavors and hospitality.
Overall, Bamboo House is a must-visit if you’re in Humboldt. I highly recommend it!

Well, the food here is relatively authentic. The price is really good and the portions are great! Their menu comprises the authentic Chinese cuisine and the American style Chinese cuisine.

We came at noon and there was no wait for 4 adults. The service was good. We ordered the Peking duck and loved it! It took some time, but the server told us ahead of time, so we were able to put in an order while we decided on other items. The house combination fried rice was way too salty. Everything else was delicious (and not too salty) and big portions. The price was pretty decent too. We would come back!

The food was great and the portions were huge! I did not expect that but you definitely get you money’s worth in the amount of food you get.
They were quite busy when we went so our waitress forgot to bring our drinks right away but she was very nice and apologetic about it. Maybe having a little extra help on busy nights would help.

We love this place. The food is so fresh and good quality. Has a very authentic taste. Definitely recommend the Beijing Duck and the house special noodles. Even the little ones enjoy it.

Good all around! My mongolian beef was perfectly tender and flavorful, her fried rice with shrimp was tender and fresh! I also had the egg drop soup, SO GOOD AND THICK, and the vegetable egg roll, crisp outside with a tender interior. I do wish the sodas we had were on fountain so we could refill, otherwise perfect! Her Rice gave us enough left overs for 2 to go’s!

I am a big fan of Peking duck, so when I heard it was good here, I had to try it. I must admit, the duck skin here is top-notch—crispy and melts in your mouth. The accompanying pancakes are plentiful, and the meat is fragrant, served with a side of soup. Additionally, I ordered the Basil Eggplant, Spicy and Crispy Chicken, and Beef Noodles. The portions are quite large, and the prices are fairly reasonable. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are quick and enthusiastic.

This place has NO businesses being this good! This is my families go to spot for duck and in the years we have been coming they have never disappointed. There is a huge selection of dishes and while we have our favorites we have been slowly trying new ones and they are delicious. Excellent service and the atmosphere is always lovely.

probably the best orange chicken i have ever had!! you actually get huge portions for what you pay for! tip: it is recommended to just order one plate as the orange chicken serves atleast 4 people.
