We had breakfast at Nikkis and everything was great. We had the Taco Omelette which was fantastic, everything was super fresh. We also had biscuits and gravy which was good too. The Bloody Mary and mimosas were good. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean and very nice.

Before you order food from this place, if your are eating there or taking it as a to go order…. CHECK YOUR MEAT!!! I used to LOVE the Jessie’s special but after so many times of telling them to make it WELL DONE NO PINK AT ALL, They continue to make the meat looking like the pictures below. Which is not well done…. Nothing close. And it really really sucks when you drive over an half hour home and they are CLOSED and there isn’t anything you can do about it…. Sucks really bad when you take it home and there is a problem and go there the next day to tell them about it and if the (owner)Jesse isn’t there they will tell you there isn’t anything they can do for you until he is there and then when you try to call and talk about it a week later because you know people have a life and can’t stay on other people’s schedules…. They say oh sorry it’s been long to do anything you would have had to say something the same day…. But the owner wasn’t there that same day so NOTHING was taken care of!!! Just take make sure you CHECK ALL OF YOUR FOOD BEFORE LEAVING !!!! After a over $200 bill I’m glad my dog got to eat a good meal. WHAT A JOKE!!!

It had been probably 5 years since I had been to Nikkis. Thrilled menu has improved. There are several options for my wife’s dietary needs. They have a good choice of beer and specialty drink options. The burger was very tasty. We sat in the bar. Lots of t.v.s to watch your game if you want.

Just had lunch at Nikki’s in Covington – it was really nice! It was pretty busy, but we got a table fairly quickly. The burger was great, and the portions seemed like a good value for the price. They had a decent beer selection too. A few TVs were on, so it was lively. I’d probably order an extra side of sour cream next time, it would have been perfect!

The last two times I’ve been here it’s been the same experience pretty much. My daughter and I ordered the steak with shrimp that comes with hollandaise sauce. We both asked for medium well and you have the sauce on the side and I also added sauteed mushrooms. The sauce was on top there were no sauteed mushrooms and our stakes were rare. Like blood all over the plate rare. After physically getting up and getting the waitresses attention they took our food away. Brought it back out there was no sauce no mushrooms and they were a little more cooked than they were the first time. Since we had to wait so long the first and second time to get our food we just said forget it we’ll just get it to go and figure it out later. If this restaurant specializes in meat why not train people the correct way to cook a steak and let it rest while it still Cooks. And also happy hour is only available in the bar or if you’re a walk-in getting something to go.

First time here with friends and I will not be back . Ordered the Jeff steak plate and then I noticed some kind of bug on my carrot. I stopped eating right away and let our server know who came back and told me it was piece of the broccoli. I am not one to complain and I think in my 20 years eating out I have sent something back twice and this is my first bad review of any restaurant. Save yourself the trouble and eat anywhere else

When we arrived, the waitress asked the folks in front of us if they wanted breakfast or lunch menus. When she sat us, she just asked how many and seated us, so we figured both menus would come with, but were wrong. 15 minutes later someone finally came over to ask if we were ready to order, but all we wanted was lunch menus.
I ordered the “north of the border” burger and the wife had the French dip. I can’t describe to you how dry both the burger and the French dip were. I know California is out of water, but didn’t realize Nikki’s was too.
The Mac and cheese for my 3yo was also oddly dry and sauceless.
The atmosphere is bleak and our table included a very bright light right on the table. No shielding, just a super bright bulb right in our eyes. We had our menus stacked against it and thankfully the waitress took notice and came to unplug it.
We won’t be returning.

The chicken salad was great! Tasty chicken and fresh greens. And a boiled egg! Good service and good drinks. Fun vibe during football games. Would definitely recommend
