It has been 6 months since I ate here last, service is always okay, but the portion sizes have shrunk, I ordered a chicken and fish dinner, the fish piece is a third smaller than what it use to be and the chicken, where do I start, good eating but half or smaller compared to what it use to be, the two pieces I got, put together wouldn’t add up to the size chicken I use to get, VERY DISAPPOINTED,
Even though they are the only one in this area, I will not be back, I can not pay $13.00 for a meal for an adult and only get enough food for a child’s portion.
Very sad, I really liked this restaurant.

my food was burnt hard greasy and dry and they didn’t give me extra fish and chicken and ask for extra krumbs and didn’t get any. worsted food I’ve ever gotten there I’ve been for hours no answer called Charlestown cause used to be owned by same guy but the manager Danielle said that there not owned by same guy Store70026 and order 9073902 unacceptable. Want my money back.

I love this stuff! Salmon tacos, hush puppies, lobster bites and more. Just yummy stuff all around. I like the crunchy stuff they use to pad the bottom of the paper bowl. Yums

We had a great time at Long John Silver’s, we were tired from house hunting and Tracy at the counter was extremely helpful.
We got a family meal with chicken and fish and added about nine shrimp to it.
The hush puppies were very tasty, we also had green beans, corn, french fries and coleslaw. We had not had french fries at Long John Silver’s in quite a while and these tasted better than I remembered.
Tracy brought the order to our table for us, we were very appreciative of her attentiveness and attention to detail. Tracy made sure we had everything and we’re happy and even checked on us later as she walked by.

My favorite fast food restaurant! Being from Pennsylvania, ours in our area closed down. It was wonderful to have dinner there while we were on vacation! Delicious fish and chicken!

This was in Charles Town WV. The day my husband and I stopped in they were very short handed. A manager was called in on his day off. They were also having tech difficulties. The order station on the wall was not talking to the computer in the kitchen. With printed receipts (that you had to hand to them) the kitchen was cooking your meal. The manager came in, jumped into action, apologized for the wait (several times) got the back up cleared and got things running smoothly. I was impressed. A few other hourly employees wandered in (I think they were also called in) and helped get things moving. Overall it was a good day.
This was in Martinsburg WV last night. My husband & I stopped in about 5pm to have a belated valentines night. The food was not as well seasoned as I expected. The chicken was tough. Just a poor quality piece of bird. (I don’t blame the restaurant exclusively.) Overall I was disappointed with my experience last night. Between the 2 of us we spent between $30-$35. I don’t think I will be returning to the Martinsburg location again.

Gosh, I just wish they would reopen some of their restaurants again. I have to drive 4 hrs just to get this. I just absolutely love LJS fish.

Only 2 visible employees ran the whole restaurant during a busy lunch hour. Drink machine had no ice for customers. Good food but restaurant needs more employees and equipment that works. Owner c’mon man.

It’s been many years since I’ve been to LJS since both locations near me closed. We were only about 20 minutes away from this one for a basketball game, and I asked the kids if they wanted to go. We went, and it was pretty much what I expected. The pieces of fish seemed a little smaller, but everything was good. I had Fish and Chicken with coleslaw and fries and I added 3 shrimp. My daughter liked the rice with shrimp. All in all, very positive experience. Almost forgot, we got the cheesecake that was the limited time deal and it was great.
