This is a that my family loves to go to for dinner it’s kind of like a tradition! They always have a great atmosphere and make our family of seven feel welcome! We got a very good laugh from the blasting music coming from the men’s restroom it was a great time! The waiters are very attentive sometimes I feel like a little too attentive but maybe that’s just me. My brother happened to put his arm over the little fire that came with the steaks to reach for something, then the waiter came and took the fire away but it was probably for the best lol. Overall food is really good and we got a bunch of extra fortune cookies! Waiters can sometimes be a little hard to understand. But then again I don’t speak Chinese lol! Highly recommend if you have a family and want an easy going place to eat!!

I usually frequent their Prescott Valley location and today was my first visit to the Prescott location. Excellent, had a wonderful experience. Staff was friendly and the food came out great. Always a hot plate! Egg drop soup and their ice tea were the perfect start to my lunch special crispy spicy chicken (if you like more spicy, ask for side of chili sauce they will usually bring that in a small bowl). Delicious, thank you for a pleasant lunch this afternoon.

YYYUUUUCCKKK!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
And I thought WZ Bistro on hwy 69 was bad!
I should have known. It was only old people there. Read my review on the now defunct Los Pinos Mexican food.
We ordered egg rolls, lemon chicken and general Tso’s chicken. I laughed reading about the general’s chicken. It is a secret recipe that goes back to ancient China. That’s all a bunch of baloney. It was developed in the 1900’s either in San Francisco or somewhere in China. That should have been my first clue. Both the lemon and general’s chicken were identical. Meaning they were prepackaged in some industrial factory shipped frozen and barely deep fried in house. Mostly made of batter. You can see that in the pictures. The sauces were very sweet. Lemony for one and no seasoning for generals. Definitely no spice. But hey, old people like sweet stuff. And all they need is nutrition. The egg rolls came out fast. Too fast. Mine was cold in the middle and very mushy and pasty. Kind of like baby food.
The old man that seated us had a mask on but only covering his mouth. He was the only Asian I saw in the place. Hispanic waiter.
If you like this food, well you might as well eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the rest of your life. This place is BAD!!

I actually looked up the old Calgon TV commercial showing the Chinese laundry guy say it was ‘an ancient Chinese secret’.

I have never had worse Chinese food in my life! Shrimp fried rice had a few shrimp very little egg, no veggies and no flavor to the rice, The pork chow mein was mainly noodles, not the typical noodles, no veggies and unappetizing pork. The noodles were brown maybe from soy sauce. Lemon chicken was slices of breaded chicken with a jellied sauce underneath. We were more than disappointed.

The food was good. We felt a bit rushed being seated and served but the server was nice enough. Our food came out quickly- we were the only ones there at 3pm!
The egg rolls were so fresh and crispy, beef and broccoli was hot and steamed perfectly, egg drop soup was awesome, sliced pork with barbeque sesame seed dip was really good, and the tea was nice and warm on a snowy day.

I’ve been to Prescott a few times and had great meals in a lot of local places but never found that dependable Chinese restaurant that could provide great takeout.

This might be the place we’re looking for!

Really didn’t want a sit down restaurant, definitely didn’t want fast food so I quickly passed up P.E. to checkout this place – glad I did!

Ordered the Mushroom Delight took it back to the vacation rental and had a very comfortable end to an excellent day. It is good to be in Prescott!

Note: more to eat than I needed and had a plate a full plate leftover for midnight munchies.

I might be a while but I’ll make a point to review this place again when I’m back in town.

Update 2/9/26 below this **post** from 6 years ago:
**This place has always been a special place to me. A first date kinda place. Brought my wife here for ours, little did I know she was going to be my wife 2 years later. I think it’s also an all-time favorite place for her too now. I love the layout of the interior, environment, staff, and food. Always good service and food is spot on. Music that plays is current and soothing. My favorite meals are the Pork Fried Rice and Deep Fried Teriyaki Chicken. Photos of Deep Fried Teriyaki Chicken lunch.**

Make sure and check your receipts. I questioned my receipt today, which is odd, amount seemed to be more than what we ordered. It was found gratis(18%) was applied but receipt they give you at table does not give pricing. So just be aware!! Before I noticed it, my Mother-in-law wrote in another Tip adding 20% more on the “tip” line but was able to get it changed. We shall see if we go back, this just upsets me a little bit. Feels sneaky and shady to automatically add tip for 4 people. Changed my Overall rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. 3 stars for service. Food and atmosphere is still 5 stars.

Sadly some of the worst Chinese food I have ever had, very bland. Gave it 2 stars because the sweet and sour pork I sampled was actually good. Not sure why my parents recommended this place.
