I had to ask… how long are you guys open??? Because we found them by chance and there were no reviews. Glad we took the chance, because this is the place for Mexican food in Gardendale!!! Absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere, clean dining area, and friendly service. The fajitas came with a rib that put it over the top. I was a little put off by the “steak”… but it was good and should probably be listed as skirt steak… no biggie, since the flavor was spot on. I would have like to find a couple of local beers on tap, since Birmingham has some great craft beer brewery…but this is a Tex-Mex joint so… you can’t have it all. This is the place… don’t pass it up!

Fairly good Mexican food. I went with a group of five and they got my plate wrong. Everybody else got their plates right. I felt like my food was cold for my taste. Flavor was good and service was average. Dessert was great.

Stopped in during our travels and was decently impressed. Friendly staff! The chips and salsa were very good, food came out very quickly and was pretty good. My only complaint would be the Margaritas which were lacking flavor and pretty weak. Overall, we were satisfied and would return, but not for Margaritas.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Fast service initially then we didn’t see a waiter till finished eating, but they were busy and the food was great so we didn’t really mind. Will go back and would recommend.

Came for dinner on a Friday evening around 7 PM and were seated right away. We ordered drinks (the Friday special was the grande margarita for nine bucks and it was GOOD). I really liked how they brought each of us a small bowl of salsa so that we did not have to worry about double dipping. The food was good, the service was attentive and the atmosphere was lively. Don’t let the unassuming exterior fool you. It’s a great place.

Food is good. Service is good, friendly staff. DON’T go for margaritas though. They are close to $13 on a medium that doesn’t contain hardly any alcohol and then when you order an extra shot just to get the drink right they charge an extra $7 on well tequila (bottom of the barrel) which amounts to like $20 just to fix their mistake and you still leave able to pass a breathalyzer if needed. The margaritas have been that bad every time I’ve gone. El Patron in Fultondale is much better.
