This was an amazing experience! Starting off the host was kind and our server was very nice and patient when we weren’t able to decide on what to get. We said we were in a bit of a rush, and maybe it was because we said that because they came out with the food around 5 min later- the drinks, appetizers, entrees, and more. The server was very kind and checked around to see how we were doing and other servers did that too for us. The atmosphere was chill and it wasn’t loud in there. The food was presented well and it was great. We got the lobster roll, fried Brussel sprouts, bacon and scallop, and the clam chowder.

Food was really good and hugeee portions! Seafood heavy menu and everything was filling and included a lot of seafood. Restaurant is really cute as well. Service is a little slow and because the area isn’t super diverse, they can definitely tell when you’re a tourist. The guy that monitors the parking lot is very friendly but in an aggressive way. They definitely treat tourist better than locals unless you’re a regular. I would go back if I’m ever in town.

My husband and I always wanted to try this restaurant out and I’m glad we found the time as we genuinely enjoyed ourselves. He ordered a steak that was tender, juicy, swimming in its own gravy. It was very well seasoned and he was visibly invested. I ordered lump crab cakes which were so yummy that I forgot to even grab a picture. The crab meat texture and flavor really permeated through each bite and the sauce they paired them with was to die for. I will admit I was a little disappointed with the cod. I found the meat quite bland/watery with the primary flavor in the crust topping. As a Portugese girl, I’ve had my fill and buy cod for dinner whenever the opportunity presents itself so I was expecting something a bit more elevated. I will say, the mash potatoes that came with it, however, were loaded with flavor and even had a cheese pull that I could not get over. It had me entertained to say the least.

Do you enjoy a nice lobster roll? Do you lay in bed struggling to sleep, worried you aren’t doing enough to decimate the Atlantic Lobster population? Are you concerned they aren’t going extinct quickly enough? Then let me tell you about the Lobster Bomb at Stonebridge. It’s not always glamorous, but I enjoy doing my part.

I found the staff to be very attentive and friendly.

Ladies, I’m not much to look at, but if you’re attracted to gluttony, you may enjoy watching me consume my next Lobster Bomb, call me.

We made a reservation for Valentine’s Day. Waited almost over half an hour and no one came to serve us. I had to stop a random server while she was walking by to ask her who our server was. She went to check and said she had no idea but she was kind enough to step in and serve us. Ordered a sangria and it tasted like just a glass of red wine with ice in it. Had to ask them to add in something to sweeten it up to actually make it a sangria.

The food was decent. I would say the presentation itself is a bit lackluster but the food was decent.

The parking situation is so hectic too but I appreciated the parking attendant helping us out.

We were excited to try this spot for the first time but was unfortunately disappointed and don’t think we will be back again.

Service was super nice. The ice wedge salad was super large and fresh. But the showstopper was the famed lobster bomb. Such large pieces of lobster and the bread was so fluffy and buttery too. The clam chowder was great and so was the lobster roll. No complaints.

My first time here and it was a great experience! The restaurant is well-managed and their menu has a nice variety of options.
Excellent service but we were not offered any dessert menus. This is a common fail in so many restaurants today and also lost opportunity for revenue.

A fairly large, smallish sized parking lot, I don’t know if there’s another area for parking, but I’d hate to imagine how it dealt with when the establishment is at capacity. There is outdoor dining as well and you can enjoy the surroundings or even get fresh air while you eat. The staff were nice throughout the whole meal and were attentive to my questions. I believe they have a full bar here where I stationed myself and enjoyed a meal (lunch). Of course, I got the oyster on the half shelf, which was delicious. I ordered clam chowder as well as one of my go-to seafood handheld items, the lobster roll. No complaints, everything tasted great. It’s slightly pricier than your normal eatery, but since it’s a little upscale, with great options, it makes sense. Everything was clean, the concept of the entire restaurant is open so it’s warm and inviting especially on those warm sunny days. Would I come here again? I don’t live in Connecticut, but probably.
