We spent the afternoon at Tacobar, such a lovely place. The daily Executive Lunch special is outstanding, many dish choices, including drink and salad. I went with two tacos, Korean BBQ and Pescado Empanizado. Delicious! When in Santa Ana, give Tacobar a try!

We literally just ordered through uber eats and everything is tasty but I paid extra for sautéed onions and avocado on the chicken sandwich/burger. Neither was add but they got paid. It states it also comes with cheese on the menu, it did not! My meal was very disappointing The sauce with the county fries are amazing. Onion rings good and my son enjoyed his burger. We think we will make an attempt to dine in since we live locally in San Rafael but it’s always disappointing when you pay extra for items and don’t receive them. A good quality check before orders go out is all it takes. I’ve heard good things about them so hoping to give them a second chance

Certainly a place both liked by Ticos and tourists. I have been here at least a couple times, very peaceful place and excellent breakfast. My favorite is the omelette which served with mushrooms, onions and peppers. Watch out if you are a vegetarian, it comes with bacon bits too, they will be happy to take it out.

Nice food spot near the Hilton Hotel. The food quality and selection are good and pretty in line with the area. The portions are reasonably generous, as well, you get access to the salad bar.

YOUR HIGHNESS
We were new to CR and we don’t speak Spanish, so they sent Michael the manager out to speak to us and explain the menu. He was exceptional, and a very colorful person!! This place is awesome great food because I love Spanish food I ordered a burrito, it was so big I couldn’t eat all of it, my husband is vegan he had the falafel sandwich with hummus, he said both items we’re very good was his exact words!! Oh yeah it’s Heineken on draft! Great food and service and it was walking distance to our condo. We will be coming back daily for our routine smoothies. As I told my husband yes we have a kitchen for the first week I was making my own smoothies. But washing dishes and cutting up fruit?! No, let’s go get smoothies because people don’t realize eating out here in CR is very cheap. I don’t wanna wash dishes on vacation! Ha…we will be walking over here daily till we leave to get our morning drink!!
