I’m very disappointed with the experience my family had tonight at this location. I have visited this restaurant several times since it opened and have always had good experiences, which is why tonight’s service was so surprising.
We arrived around 6:45 PM and went directly to the host stand but were not acknowledged for about 10 minutes. When we were finally added to the waitlist, we were told the wait would be 30 minutes. However, by 8:00 PM we still had not been called to be seated.
At 8:10 PM, we decided to order our food to go instead. The host told us the food would be ready in 30 minutes, but we did not receive our order until 9:15 PM, which was over an hour later.
Unfortunately, the order was also incorrect. Our child’s sirloin steak was given as a filet, and the steak was ordered medium rare but came out well-done. After waiting that long, receiving the wrong meal was very frustrating.
I completely understand that Friday nights are busy, but the lack of acknowledgment when we arrived, the long wait times, and the incorrect order made this experience unacceptable. I hope management at this location reviews what happened tonight and works with the staff to improve service moving forward.

UPDATE: As promised, we went back on Saturday, January 10, 2026. We fixed the problem with the timing of our salads and entrées by communicating with our server. My steak was cooked to perfection and was delicious. My wife’s pork chops were the same way, as well as being very moist.
Now, our only complaints are the noise level in the restaurant and the number of people who came in the restaurant reeking of pot smoke. I even saw a guy leaving the restaurant who was lighting a joint close to the entrance.

I’m sorry to admit this, but the last time I was in Longhorn was shortly before COVID. BIG mistake.
Their steaks are just as good as I remember them, maybe better, and I think they have kept their steak/beef prices reasonable despite what the tariffs did. The quality is still great.
My only complaint was the speed of the meal because our steaks came out while we were in the middle of our salads, but I know how to correct this next time. Our waiter had only been on the job for 5 months, so his inexperience may have had something to do with this. But he happily shared that he was opening his first bottle of wine for us, and he did fine.
We’ll be back!

We went around 4 pm on a Sunday. Semi busy. I had a little incident, and no one helped me at first, but the manager eventually came by after the server was notified her. Anyway, the food was excellent. This is not my first time eating here, but the good was very flavorful. We had the Blackened Salmon with Shrimp and Ribeye plate. The Ribeye was tender and juicy. Easy to cut. The salmon was great. Flaky, moist and seasoned just right. The side came perfectly. Meaning we had very hot and steamy potatoes . They must have a new chef in the kitchen. Great job!
As for service. It was a little lacking. Staff are all friendly. It’s just a little slow, and that may be due to staffing.

I’m big on customer service! no matter what the time. @ 9:24pm i walked in to place a togo order. No one greeted us. The sign to place a togo order was hidden behind the large stone wall. I watch the gentlemen look at us from a far at the back of the house and bar. He only came out after the bartender asked if we were placing an order. He then came out to take myorder. I thought i made it simple A Steak salad med. well and onions and cheddar cheese. and fries on the top. Like we do in Pgh! He was quick to say oh we don’t do that!… terrible. overall ok no problem. but when i got back to my destination. i had more onions then anything else, and cheese was only on one small portion of the salad. and to top it off my steak was Well done. So now that i drove 35 minutes home. knowing i would have to reheat my food, my steak is now tough. All im saying is pay a little more attention to the order, overcooking one’s steak and not preparing the salad in reasonable proportions would be nice. I don’t know if i’ll be back.

Do not go to the one out Bowie. Worst experience. Went Sunday evening had to wait 40 mins for a table . The waitress we had service was horrible. We had to wait hour for our food. Had to wait for silverware . They were out of lamb chops , fries for the kids , lemonade , cups . and more stuff . We ask for more napkins she gave us two. Food came out my chicken was cold , steak coulda been hot , Mac n cheese was nasty and cold . Only thing hot was the corn. The table next to us stayed dirty the whole time nobody came and cleaned up. Making and food all on the floor leaving out and coming in. Just the worst experience.

Waited 42 minutes for cold Appetizer. Had to ask for bread twice while waiting fir entrees Total wait time for food was 1 hour which was utterly ridiculous. We should have left! Dinner entree was extremely small for price!
