Stopped in for dinner, and there was live accordion music from a delightful couple. The space is small, but not too loud to have a conversation. The schnitzel was crispy and the sides were good – mashed potatoes were better than the spatzle. Sauerkraut was a nice mild flavor, so it didn’t overwhelm the rest of the flavors. We tried both the Jaeger sauce (sort of like stroganoff) and the beer sauce (more of a classic brown gravy) as well as the lingonberries. Small plate was plenty of food for me! Big plate comes with double the schnitzel.

Great German beer with savoring German food, honestly I couldn’t ask for more! This is the perfect place to celebrate your anniversary with someone special! Would recommend the schnitzels, they are big enough to fill you for a day and more. Lovely service with a nice atmosphere. Will definitely come back here and try more of the food!

Excellent place to eat. I didn’t even like German food before this. Great service, great food, and wonderful atmosphere. Pork Shank was magnificent. Beer Schnitzel was amazing. Great service always makes the food taste better indeed. Even had to Shazam one of the songs haha!

Our first visit and we very much loved our experiance. We sat outdoors and enjoyed the the wonderful atmosphere. The brat worst plate was excellent with two very tasty mustard varieties. My wife was happy tinsel they offered a small plate option which was perfect for herm She had the pork schnitzel with the lingonberry sauce. We will be sure to visit again when we are nearby.

My girlfriends and I had the absolute pleasure of visiting Schnitzel Garten this evening, and from the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a gracious gentleman who guided us to a lovely table on the beautiful shaded patio.

We tried amazing dishes — German sausages, sampler, schnitzel, appetizers, and desserts to share — and every single dish was outstanding. The flavors were rich, authentic, and wonderfully prepared, with generous portions that truly showcased traditional German cuisine.

The atmosphere was cozy and charming, the service was attentive and seamless, and the desserts? Simply divine — we couldn’t get enough!

A special thank you to Restaurant Manager Zayan, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our evening was perfect. He was an absolute delight and made us feel so well taken care of.

To top it all off, we even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who came out personally to greet us — such a thoughtful and memorable touch.

We wholeheartedly recommend Schnitzel Garten for any occasion — whether it’s a family dinner, date night, or a gathering with friends, this gem truly checks all the boxes: atmosphere, incredible food, drinks, thoughtful preparation, and impeccable service. What a lovely, unforgettable place! ✨

This place has an old world feel to. The food was excellent! I had the Jager schnitzel (with a mushroom gravy). It was yummy! A little bummed because they were out of German potato salad, but got spaetzle instead. Good selection of wine and beer. Plenty of parking. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful dinner. So thankful our waitress pointed out the “smaller plate” option after seeing another table’s regular size schnitzel… probably at least 10″-12″ across. Huge!! We had the Jager gravy, lots of fresh mushrooms. I had the German sauerkraut side and my hubby had mashed potatoes. I wish we had saved room for the apple strudel because it looked wonderful. Excellent choice if you’re looking for something a little different. Casual atmosphere, extensive wine and beer list. Prices were very fair. Service attentive without being intrusive.

My wife and I were out and about driving from Boise Idaho. My wife found this location, so we stopped to eat a late lunch. The only bad thing is our food was warm, not hot. The food was delicious, and the service was great. It’s on the side and behind the tanning salon (F.Y.I) 4/12/25

Went to eat lunch on 6/28, the city of Eagle was having their water day. Hard to get into the lot, but this is a rarity.

Very nice German restaurant in Eagle, tucked away in a business center. Gasthaus decor with an outdoor Biergarten. We visited on Saturday at about noon, and dined Al Fresco in the Garten.

The food is very good, one of the better German places we’ve eaten in the U.S., and we spent many years in Germany.

The squeeze and I shared the Zigeunerschnitzel and the single wurst dish. I love the sauce on the Gypsy style schnitzel, all time fave. Personally, I think the sauce needs a touch of cayenne to give it a little spice. Still very good, and the taste authentic. We got it with fries, which were very good.

The single brat was smoked and came with sauerkraut and spaetzle, all three of which were tasty.

I had a half liter of the Hefeweizen, a yeasty wheat beer that’s great on a hot day. It has hints of clove and banana. If you have never had one, you can get a free taste of it.

Great service too! Try this place out, they do take reservations.

Food was delicious. Atmosphere could more German celebration, like uniforms, table clothes besides flags on the walls.
Staff was friends but they seemed a bit overwhelmed since there was only 2 servers.
It was a little salty for the meals but worth every dime.
