Myself and a co-worker came to Denver for 3 weeks to get some work done, saw Indian castle ok the nearby restaurants, we went in to give it a go.
This place is the best restaurant period that we have ever been to, its warm, cozy, clean, staff are very kind and friendly, and the food is exceptionally top notch. We came here 3 times in a weeks time just because we had to try more and it was just so nice being there.
If you are even thinking about trying this spot, DO IT! Just give them your money and be blown away with the flavors, portions, and visuals they offer, 100% hands down worth it. Thank you Indias Castle.

The food here is absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The garlic naan was a standout—crispy, fresh out of the oven, and incredibly delicious. I also tried the lamb Jalfrezi, and it was packed with rich flavors and cooked to perfection.

What makes this place even better is that it’s family-owned and operated. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, always greeting you with a smile.

A fantastic spot for authentic Indian cuisine. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

If you’re in Denver and craving authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine, you have to check this spot out. I went all out at this place in my last trip to Denver, and let me tell you, every single dish was a winner.

Vegetarian dish: Paalak Paneer!

Their paalak paneer was beyond excellent. The spinach was perfectly pureed, vibrant green, and tasted incredibly fresh – none of that overly creamy, bland stuff you sometimes find. The paneer itself was melt-in-your-mouth soft and perfectly absorbed the flavors of the rich, subtly spiced spinach gravy. It was comforting, earthy, and truly a masterclass in this classic dish. Seriously, if you’re a paalak paneer fan, you need to give it a try.

Meat dish: Goat Curry!

Now, I’m a big fan of goat curry, and this restaurant absolutely nailed it. The goat was incredibly tender, falling off the bone with barely any effort. The curry itself was a symphony of spices – aromatic, complex, and just the right amount of heat to keep things exciting without overwhelming the palate. You could taste the depth of flavor that comes from slow cooking, and it was just pure, unadulterated comfort in a bowl. Highly recommend for anyone who loves a good, hearty meat curry.

Accoutrements: Garlic Naan, Papad, Raita, and Chutney!

The Garlic Naan was phenomenal. Freshly baked, piping hot, with those beautiful blistered spots, and perfectly infused with garlic. It was fluffy yet chewy, and the ideal vehicle for scooping up every last drop of that delicious curry and paalak paneer.

The Papad was exactly what you want – thin, crispy, and lightly spiced, providing that satisfying crunch and a nice textural contrast to the richer dishes.

The Raita was cool, creamy, and subtly tangy, providing a perfect counterpoint to the spice. And the Chutney selection – a mix of sweet and savory – added those little bursts of flavor that really complete the experience. They clearly make their chutneys in-house, and it makes all the difference.

Dessert: Rice Pudding!

It was the perfect sweet ending. It was creamy, rich, and beautifully fragrant with cardamom, and just the right amount of sweetness. It felt like a warm, comforting hug in a bowl – a truly satisfying and authentic way to finish off an incredible meal.

Overall Impression:

India’s Castle Restaurant and Bar truly delivered a royal feast every time I visited them. Every dish was prepared with care and packed with authentic flavors. The quality of ingredients shines through, and you can tell there’s a real passion for traditional Indian cooking here. The service was also excellent, attentive but not intrusive, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience.

If you’re looking for fantastic paalak paneer, a deeply flavorful goat curry, and all the perfect trimmings, then this restaurant is your spot. Happy eating!

Tried the “lamb biryani” and “chicken Noorani” curry with kabli and garlic naan, loved the sweet and spice combo of kabli naan with the chicken curry. Would definitely try it again. Regarding biryani I felt that the rice was like old, didn’t give the feeling of having a long grain basmati.

Sooo delicious. Service is great. Did I mention the food? It was delicious. It’s my go-to Indian food spot now. I’m a curry fan and the chicken curry…yummy! Oh, and definitely get the garlic naan (cooked perfectly with some char-bubbles) and the samosas…wonderful.

This is a family-owned business with delicious food! We had lunch there today and enjoyed Coconut Chicken, Shrimp Curry and Chicken Tika Misala, along with garlic Naan. They give you a choice of spice (heat) levels. I chose 1.5 and it was perfect. My friends chose 3 and said theirs was pretty spicy. The food all tasted delicious and fresh. The servings were very generous and we took some home. Our waiter was kind and gracious. We all enjoyed our meal and highly recommend this restaurant!
