My fiancée and I were here for our anniversary; it was delicious! The appetizers are huge in comparison to other places we’ve been (i.e. the potstickers appetizer had 13ish stickers, other places I’ve been to only have 6). Most things seems to be homemade, the quality of the food was really, really good. The wait staff were very friendly and fast, as well as patient. The interior is mostly finished wood and is layed out in a very comfortable setting–its gorgeous. We will definitely be coming back, as well as recommend this restaurant to others : )

Stopped here after skiing Killington. We had 16 people and only had about a 15 min wait. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The chicken and waffles was excellent. Crispy chicken, maple infused waffles. Came with maple syrup and maple butter that was thick, almost like a paste, really tasty.

I originally came across this place when searching for wings in the Killington area. Boy was I impressed! Their jerk sauce was on point, just the right amount of kick, and the bartender made me feel welcomed and at home in a place 400 miles from my dwelling! Quick service and ice cold drafts highlight this quaint tavern, best wings in Killington!

Definitely a must-visit spot in Killington! The food was fantastic, and the selection of local draft beers was impressive. Outside, you can play cornhole, relax on the patio, or, if you’re lucky, grab a seat upstairs by the ledge for stunning mountain views.

The burgers looked great in photos, but the experience was disappointing. While the pictures were aesthetically appealing, the food didn’t live up to expectations. We initially tried to place a takeout order online, but the system was down. Since they don’t accept phone orders, we had to go in person just to order, which was already inconvenient. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience.

Maple Bacon Burger – 2/5: The patty wasn’t well seasoned, and the sauce was very minimal, so the sriracha aioli was barely noticeable. But the fries were the one thing they did well

BBQ Brisket Sandwich – 1.5/5: Lacked flavor overall; the brisket itself wasn’t seasoned

Philly Cheesesteak – 1.5/5: Didn’t resemble a true Philly cheesesteak and was light on meat, which made it underwhelming

I don’t typically leave reviews like this, especially negative ones, but this experience was so disappointing that I feel it’s important to share in order to help others avoid similar issues in the future.
My friends and I visited The Lookout Tavern on New Year’s Day around 6:00 PM with a party of 14–15 people. We fully expected a wait due to the holiday and understood the restaurant closes around 9–10 PM. What we did not expect was the extreme level of disorganization, poor communication, and lack of service that followed.

Upon arrival, the restaurant was overcrowded and claustrophobic, particularly around the host stand. The host repeatedly told guests the wait would be 15 minutes to an hour, which seemed reasonable. We were placed on the waitlist and tracked it online, showing approximately 24 people ahead of us. After an hour, we had moved only one spot. When we attempted to get clarification, the host appeared overwhelmed and unfocused, frequently walking away from the stand and giving inconsistent information.

We were then told there was a possibility we might not be seated before the kitchen closed, which was extremely frustrating given the earlier time estimates. If the actual wait was going to exceed two hours, that should have been communicated honestly from the start. We only stayed because every other restaurant nearby had 3+ hour waits.

We were finally seated approximately 2.5 hours after arrival. Initially, we were placed into three small booths meant for four people, which was completely inappropriate for a group our size, despite two large tables being available. After asking, we were eventually moved — something that should have been handled properly from the beginning.

Service and food timing were unacceptable. Orders were taken, but food arrived in scattered intervals over more than an hour. One table received food, another about 20 minutes later, and our table waited nearly an hour after the first meals were served. One guest did not receive their food until everyone else was nearly finished.

Several orders were incorrect. I have a food allergy, which was clearly communicated, yet my sandwich still came out wrong. When it was remade as a steak and cheese, the bread was ice cold, as if it had been taken directly from a freezer. Warm meat on freezing bread was inedible and a complete waste of money.

Service was minimal at best. We saw our waitress very rarely, empty drinks went unnoticed, and there was little to no check-in throughout the meal. Even as the restaurant cleared out toward closing time, attentiveness did not improve.

Overall, this was a poorly managed, frustrating experience marked by inaccurate wait times, chaotic seating, delayed and incorrect food, inattentive service, and subpar food quality. While holiday crowds are understandable, misleading guests and failing to manage large parties is not.

I would not return and do not recommend this restaurant, especially for groups larger than six. This experience fell far below acceptable standards.

The jumbo wings were really good. Their burger was ok but not my favorite. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The view from the roof top deck was really nice

Everything I had was delicious. Starting with the Brussel Sprouts just the right amount of sauce for great flavor. I had the Chicken and Waffles and was pleasantly surprised at how good the waffles were and the syrup was light and maple flavor was smooth. The chicken was moist and tender.
