Located directly on the rim of the Grand Canyon, this is the place to enjoy the best of Arizona. Our goal is to immerse our guests into a more interpretive dining experience focused on items grown and created within the state. The Arizona Steakhouse features beer and wine selections produced from local artisan brewers and vintners. Or sip one of our signature Mules (the liquid kind). Located in the Bright Angel Lodge, don’t miss this delicious culinary experience.
Lunch and dinner are currently first come, first served.
Big windows facing the canyon set the scene for modern steakhouse fare, plus burgers & BBQ at lunch.

This restaurant blew our party away. The flavor presented in each entree and side was divine, the presentation was amazing. Our party had prime rib, New York strip, beef tenderloin, ribeye which were all cooked precisely as ordered, as well as a phenomenal lemon basil chicken. Kristofer was an excellent server with knowledge of everything on the menu and answered every question well. Being sat next to the kitchen, the professionalism we witnessed amongst the team was impressive and efficient. The manager was so courteous and friendly, as well. And dessert was fantastic, too! Treat yourself to a night here and you will not be disappointed! We’ve spent more at Cheesecake Factory for food that wasn’t even half as good!

Visited here in the winter so it was not crowded, granted we had reservations. The service and food were excellent and of course the views of the Grand canyon. There were very few vegetarian options but you can get creative with salads, soups and appetizers.

A fantastic dining spot in the Grand Canyon Village! The food was incredibly tasty and full of flavor, but the real surprise was the bread pudding, absolutely amazing and a must-try. Add in the stunning views and this restaurant becomes the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a memorable meal after exploring the canyon. Highly recommended!!!

The ribeye was cooked to perfection and the cowboy butter added a great flavor. The garlic mashed potatoes were a great addition along with the vegetables.
The chocolate lava cake didn’t last long enough for a photo!
And great service!

Food was amazing. I had prime rib, mashed potatoes and zucchini/squash, he had the ribeye…the butter they had for the bread was made with prickly pear and was also really good. Service was prompt and it was a short wait for food. Spent $120 including tip.

We had our second meal at the canyon at the steak house. The food and service were excellent. No missing menu items like at the Harvey house the night before.
I was disgusted with the couple at the next table with their fake service dogs, people with such obviously worthless pets should be refused entry into a place where food is served.
Other than that, all was great.

It was a great location right on the rim of the canyon watching the sun set. Chris was our server and he was friendly and attentive and recognized my husbands birthday with a free dessert and a candle. That was a nice touch and something special for him to celebrate.
The food was good but not as good as I thought it would be , especially for the price. I had the fish with black coconut rice, garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The fish was flaky in parts and mushy in others. So not my favorite.
The food was not hot but warm. There was no special presentation as you would expect from an upscale steakhouse. The mashed potatoes had big cloves of garlic and I ended up picking out most of the cloves as it was overkill. The asparagus was just plain with no seasoning. The black rice was crunchy and not very favorable.
My husband had the ribeye, which he said was good but not great. He did love the macaroni and cheese so that was a surprise hit. He had the chocolate molten cake which he enjoyed.
Overall, it was a decent dinner, but for the price we paid, I’d go back to El Tovar for dinner.

It’s a very nice restaurant. They we’re packed and you definitely need reservations. Our waitress was very sweet and was able to make recommendations when I was unsure of which dish I wanted. We cleaned our plates! The baramundi was excellent. My son had the bison prime rib and it did not disappoint. My husband had Osso Bucco Bison. It was fork tender and just melted in your mouth.

Google’s listed operating hours were inaccurate, leading to an unproductive visit. Upon returning during actual operating hours, we discovered that reservations were required, resulting in an approximate one-hour wait. My husband and I ordered the ribeye, which, despite its good flavor, was thin and consequently dry. The accompanying garlic mashed potatoes were satisfactory. However, the coconut black rice was not to our preference. My husband also ordered the macaroni and cheese, which, while having a distinct flavor profile, was enjoyable.

You’re on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. It’s not a top tier steakhouse in a major city but it’s worth it and delicious. Starting with the complimentary bread with prickly pear butter, I ordered the southwest Caesar salad and Prime Rib with hatch chili Mac n cheese. All of it was delicious and washed down with a delightful Napa Cab.
